My Fated Boy is a good noona/jiejie drama and is Chinese. It's also more lighthearted than Sniper Butterfly (love that title).

I cannot wait until tomorrow and the day when Seon U sees the two mums chilling downstairs with their children who are looking very much in love, which I hope will be tomorrow. He is in for a rude awakening. I also don't think he deserves SFL but she is so utterly enchanted by the idea of how wonderful it is to simply love who you love that as long as he genuinely starts to like her, she won't care about his Darim crush. So, if she's okay, I'm okay.

The leads in My Fated Boy grew up together and despite the age gap were very close. So, even though she's older, they are on more of an even playing field. Most important, Lu Zheng An is supremely more confident than Li Wu, in part because he grew up with loving and well-to-do parents, while our sweet Wu was basically an orphan. The things they have in common are how dedicated they are to the women in their hearts and their commitment to their professions.

This one has more angst, but it's not heart wrenching; MFB has more humor.

I really am. Shockingly, given the age-gap relationship and how the pair met, we're not seeing nearly as much anger/angst/petty peeves/grievances that are prevalent here.

His mother in the car was epic. He's freaking out and she's grinning ear to ear that she's fine. I cannot wait until they find out their mums are BFFs! Darim's mother needs to open up a counseling center for troubled women.

Our SFL also was fabulous today in the way she was prepared to totally blow up that engagement ceremony and the advice she gave ML about the joys of loving freely. She should have a word with Darim, too.

I love Darim, too, and the very expensive French shoes she was wearing today. Tomorrow will be the first time she will have the luxury to think about being in love and allowing herself to be vulnerable. Love the preview of him following her around.

Seon, you don't a chance. Never did, but don't even more now. And the chaebol mother is going to be your new neighbor and your "beloved's" mother-in-law. When she sees how her son looks at Darim? Wowza!

Half sister is also in for a shock because chaebol mum wants her company back. I predict she'll get it, Darim and Hyeok will get married, she'll work with her MIL at Natural Bebe, and he'll go back to his consulting business. The three of them and her mother will go live on a lovely estate.

I love it so much and got the express package. The series goes back and forth between the time the main couple met and the present time. He has only ever loved her and loves her deeply; she has some feels, too, and if she decides to be with him she has to be all the way in otherwise he will be destroyed. Also, certain people, like her mother, will want to commit her or her own self to the mad house when they get together.

The ML's evolution is very interesting to watch. It's also making me want to rewatch My Fated Boy.

P.S. I love the transition from Mountain Boy who sleeps in any old thing to the man in silk pajamas! LOL!

She cares but is afraid, I think, and cautious, because if she starts up with him she has to be all of the way in given how deeply and intensely he cares for her. This cannot just be a fling for her while he's madly in love.

She also has to consider the outside world. Can you imagine how her mother will react to them being together? There aren't enough crystals in the world to calm that lady down when she finds out what's going on! The father won't be thrilled, either. Her BFF and his business partner's uncle could be their only supporters, although I suspect her workmates will be cool.

Anyway, I love, love, love this series. Have been watching on my iPad with Tencent, but may start a rewatch on Viki so I can see everything on a bigger screen.

Are you watching Dynamite Kiss on Netflix? The male lead is desperately in love. It is a rom com and a blast to watch!!!
