I loathe SML but to be fair, the reason he went to the ski resort was because the brother asked him to take him there on vacation because all of his school friends were going on family holidays and he'd seen FL's cousin's post. He thought he was doing SML a favor by getting him to the same place where FL would be holidaying so he could pursue her. Too late!
