I think the difference is that SFL knows that SML likes Darim and is okay with that. She's basically letting him know that she'll be there for his consideration when he gets over his delusions. It's also part of her love who you love, not who your chaebol family is trying to force on you era. SML, on the other hand, refuses to accept that Darim only sees him as a brother and has no romantic interest in her at all despite the closeness he witnesses between her and Hyeok. He's an idiot.
