When XG came home after two encounters with Mr. SourPuss, instead of focusing on that, she was wondering why Lovely ML hadn't texted her again. I was so proud of her when she acknowledged to her family that he is indeed in pursuit of her.

Didn't the girl say yesterday that it had taken her and her mother quite some time to convince Mr. Nie to take her to that event and XG was so furious about it that he never took her anywhere like that again and the circle of friends she'd formed abandoned her.

The short haired one was also the FL's roommate in Love Me, Love My Voice, and pretty much acts the exact same way, lol, stuffing her face and asking lots of questions. In SOM she's the only kind one, though.

The good news is that XG is too smart to believe him and heads straight to LYS for an explanation.

Could be wrong, but my impression is not that she impersonated XG but pretended to be the father's daughter and ML knew that XG was the daughter. Don't think the friend said an actual name when he called to set up the blind date.
