I loathe Jiang Liang. Yan has already rejected him, it's clear she and her husband still love each other, and he takes every opportunity to interfere. Like, take a hint!

Let me tell you, tears were rolling down my face during the first half of episode 26 and I was howling with laughter. Then it got tense again.

Steve: STFU And why does Yan listen to him? Haoming is a businessman and also trying to win his father's and the board's trust. Plus, thousands of employees and their families depend on the company's success. Of course he's going to do what's necessary to build it, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love Yan.

He entered them into that competition that turned things around. Their participation got revoked because of the internet troll scandal, so he did that interview which led to them being allowed to participate in the competition. They owe him a HUGE thank you! And because of what he did, the investment funds being provided by Jiang's company can now be unfrozen. I love our female lead, but that was just rude.

Yes, but she should have still thanked her husband because they had about a month's worth of capital before he signed them up for the competition, did that interview that allowed them to move forward in it after getting revoked, and brought the Russian bride to visit who consequently wore one of the designs to a major event. Once the internet trolls did their damage, Jiang's sister froze the investment and they could no longer access additional funds.

I was really upset with her, too. How could she not thank him? Their lowest point wasn't when Jiang offered investment; it was when the trolls and the shady accountant tanked the business. If Haoming hadn't done that interview and entered her into the contest and hadn't brought the Russian's wife to the design salon, she'd still be trying to dig that business out of the ditch in episode 29!!! That was just really bad manners. And none of the other girls said anything, either.

I caved and signed up for VIP Tencent this morning and am desperately waiting for this Zoom meeting I'm on to end so I can watch episode 24.

Funny aside: The Zoom is for a foundation I started volunteering for so all of my time wasn't spent watching Asian dramas.
