Oh, my! The First Frost got me started on this Chinese drama obsession that now possesses me! That series haunted me for days after my first of now many watches. Backed the car into a brick wall of in a parking lot humming one of the songs.
Their managers are exes and hate each other ( from the gossip i read online)
This issue didn't stop them from working on this project, thank goodness! Someone here or on reddit also said his fans didn't want him to do this drama (how is that their business?) but he decided to do it anyway. Thank the Chinese drama gods!

That said, I am loving this drama so, so much and as I've noted many times, I am not a costume drama fan. Thank you, ZLH, for bringing me here. My alarm is set for 5:15 am so I can watch today's and tomorrow's episodes together.

My thoughts, too, that she's fleeing an unwanted marriage and her wretch of a mother. She got a two-year stay, but probably doesn't want to hear a word about what happens after, lol. So, why not go to war, eh?
