Title Love Story in the 1970s Spoiler
The Fei family was incredibly annoying in this episode — especially Fei Ting. He was shading Muyang for being…
Fei Ting still is up himself and lacking in gratitude, which I don't like. Not a big fan of his wife, but at least she recognized that Mujuing is a great husband.

Yes, people need to be patient with Fei Lin. I feel like she is being judged by today's standards and maybe because I'm older, I have more understanding and sympathy for her, even though I'm an American and life was so very different here. But they will be pleasantly surprised. That was finally a real and very sweet kiss!!!

im not sure if pushover is the right word for Fei Tian, but he does seem like a good guy and someone who finds…
He was still getting paid by the factory and did that on his lunch break.

He is not flawless but who is that perfect? He is very talented and capable. And understanding. It’s hard to…
She's getting there! Actually, in the express as I recall, she has arrived.

I am actually enjoying the interactions between Fang Mujing and Que Yue. Their relationship is really layered…
Loved it when Mujing said to his sister that her husband wasn't complaining to him, he was confiding in him. :)

And is that Fei Ting for real? They are all freeloaders of this relationship and they have the audacity to bring…
Yeah, I wanted to slap the stupid off of Fei Ting's face. He and his wife are awful and she seems to be almost as pretentious as her mother. "A pen is better than a ladle," my ass!!!

I think Feng Lin is getting more hate here than the SMLs in Shine on Me and Love Between Lines, LOL!!! All three of these actors deserve all of the awards for getting us so steamed up!

Easily the best drama of 2026 so far for me cant get enough of it
It is soooo good, but also a bit heartbreaking in a good way. I am anxious for the second half when the trio is reconstructing their town.

I think I agree with what you’re saying outside of calling the second leads a waste of resources. I do find…
Oops! I don't mean to imply that the second leads are more emotionally mature. Just at different stage of life.

lol - the scene where he is reciting Hamlet was funny 😂😂
I love so much that he prepared that celebration of her work for him. When she went home while her writing was being broadcast I was hoping he would congratulate and praise her and he did so much more. Wondering if the feckless brother thanked her. He may be too busy worrying because now there are expectations. Will he expect her to do all of his writing?

A heartwarming drama. But the 2nd ML and FL is such a waste of resources. They are so out of place in this innocent…
I feel the opposite and am enjoying seeing how the two couples who married with an agenda are finding their way to each other. One is very young and innocent and inexperienced and finding their way in life. The other pair have established careers and romantic/sexual histories. Loving it all.

They do have different standards for men and women in this drama is all I will say
In today's express episode they both started missing each other after his most recent visit. Each time he attempts to call her he is interrupted by some sort of medical emergency. She keeps asking the receptionist if she got any calls or mail from him.

Yes, they started the marriage using each other but they are also starting to have real feelings for each other. He is trying to break down the walls she's put up and that is making her begin to thaw a bit. He also knows exactly why she agreed to marry him and is cool with that while at the same time hoping that the marriage will become a real union. She seems to still be feeling the burn of her ex's rejection and afraid to be vulnerable again to another man.

I think he was initially attracted to her because of her likeness to Yan but as he grows more attracted to and intrigued by her that's less of an issue. I also suspect that he may be feeling more guilt about Yan's death since he couldn't save her than missing the love they shared. The night he got drunk was the anniversary of her death.

In addition, he's starting to seek ML's help in trying to understand her better and in tomorrow's express will start taking more active steps to pursue his wife.

I am really enjoying their story. As I've previously said, it's interesting to see the contrast between these two couples who both married with an agenda.

I’m enjoying the relationship between Qu Hua and Fang Mu Jing just as much as the main leads. It’s so spicy…
I love their scenes, too. But I also think he knows he's hooked; that's why he keeps following her.

I'm so confuse here.....Why does Fang Mu Jing gets to use Qu Hua for his family background but he doesn't get…
I don't understand. I think they were both fine with "using" each other but are now starting to have feelings for each other that go beyond their strong sexual attraction, so now every little slight stings a bit. They get a little closer and then boom! something else happens. In the end, though, they will be happy, I predict.

Both Fang Mu Jing and Fei Ni are very stubborn but they will both thaw soon, I believe.

Title Love Story in the 1970s Spoiler
jJust finished today’s episode, and the FML’s brother love story annoys me so much. Why is Lin Mei’s brother…
I absolutely agree. He is so completely unsuited for that PR job. What will happen when he has to actually produce something in the office and cannot do it? He needs to pack up his semi-literate wife and that nice furniture and move back to where he was before where he actually took initiative and made an important contribution.

Seeing the BFF stumble over the article made me even more infuriated with the brother's in laws. They are the worst parents ever. Their son can't find a job on his own and they failed to educate their daughter completely.

On the brighter side, I was so happy when Fei Ni came home and her Fang Mujang had already prepared a celebration of the broadcast of what was actually her work and also delivered a Shakespeare soliloquy for her. I'll take brilliant, skilled but impulsive over dull and uninspiring any day. He's such a good husband!!!
