No, because I am a true idol, modern romance fan but I LOVE this series. Even the one-sided love with her slowly, slowly defrosting has been wonderful for me. The actors, the action, the remarkable attention to detail--the tension (!!!)--have been incredible!!!

Jing Boran deja vu? To each her own, I guess, lol. JB stirs my soul. The ML here is not very appealing to me but I am definitely trying to keep an open mind. His character is fun and interesting, though. I also don't think we will get 1/4 of the passion we saw in The Early Spring, but I hope the romance will romance. Holding out hope for that in Touch of Green for that TES vibe.

That pregnant woman is in a miserable marriage and deserves to be miserable with her idiot husband. She and her friend are the absolute worst. Like why are you being so mean to these young women? Thank goodness the boss lady has some sense.
LOL I noticed the mule too but more because I was like...that mule looks awfully like a horse.
I needed that because this episode had me so tense my head started to hurt a little bit. This drama series is so excellent because even when you know the outcome will be fine, the tension felt watching everything unfold is still so very real.
Episodes 33 and 34 were so damn satisfying!!! And our girl is finally starting to defrost. Normally I prefer waaaay more romance--and modern ones at that--but I am seriously enjoying this drama series and cannot wait for the episodes to be up each morning.
I love how smart she is. All of those lessons we saw her getting from her father in the early episodes really paid off. I also love how much ML loves how brilliant she is and doesn't even question it, and is now even following her lead. (Still laughing about how she put out a hit on that asshole BIL in husband's name and also that he was cool with that!) He appreciated her brain when she was his maid and that's why he gave her access to his library.

That story was kind of crazy and I loved it. "I'll beat you to death!!!"??? I was so glad Xiu Wan went to her, though, with the crazy tree branches, lol.
