I think writers had not any ideas and that is why such stupid plot is introduced. They want us to switch off our brain and watch drama.

I think Chinese government need to promote making complaints against stalker through drama rather than burying it. I don't know but they will promote how good behaving police and other good things about government but will not do this.

This happened because her friend did not want to call police when that creepy man was threatening her. She said she did not want to give attention, and because of this her friend died.
