It is misunderstanding. Yes she acted without knowing anything but that does not mean she is annoying. She is totally mature and professional in her job.
If you want to watch brilliant investigation drama then this will be the best but if you into romantic investigation drama then this will disappoint you. When novel is used to make drama then due to restrictions drama can't show every aspect of novel. Then it is main task of drama makers that how to make drama without losing its essence. Here this what happened. Drama makers didn't bother to show how FL fall in love , when she start to have feelings for ML. Initially she was in love with SML even knowing that he is assassin and not good guy but she was thrilled by his job and number of times saved her and he was her fiance but when she came to know that he was using her then she left him. And then she married to ML okay no problem but still was with SML . For SML she betrayed ML which could have ended his own and whole families life. At the end when FL got to know how much ML had gone through just because of her then she started to have feelings for him. Even after knowing SML is assassin and not good guy and ML is chasing him still lot of time FL helped SML and never told ML about him. I was happy that emperor was good and punished them not to meet with each other. And my favourite part was when she was flogged by ML and divorced her.Lol ML deserve better than her. She can be good friend/partner but not companion for Life .
There are some flaws with investigation that i decided to ignore. For example FL family was spy and then nothing happened to their family. But in reality her whole Clan would have been either killed or had to become slave or banished from kingdom. All the spy got caught were died by suicide and not single caught to expose conspiracy, i mean c'mon. Investigators hate spy and they love to torture them.
If you ignore FL love story and these some flaws then this drama is brilliant.

I was thinking same. If they had shown FL is friends with both ML and SML then this problem would have not rose. In that way she won't be called cheater. Here she was switching loyalty very faster than chameleons. It is not like I'm against character changing their love but for that director need to give proper explanation. We have seen lot of times in drama that ML/FL are in love with someone but after going through lot of trials and tribulations they feel that they are chasing wrong person all the time and real love was with them all the time. Then character won't be called cheater. But here since investigation was main theme so director did not waste time on explaining these things. At the end FL character becomes cheater. And for chemistry of FL with ML or SML , it was totally lacking. I never got that how and when she was falling in love with them . Only at the end when FL was jailed and then she got to know how much ML loves her and what he has gone through just for her, that is first time i felt that she falls for ML . So showing FL be friends with ML and SML with no romantic feeling from her side and then at the end she falls for ML would have been best .
Is there heavy love triangle? Like at first FL Likes SML and so on so on Annoying SML ?
No Love triangle. Her boss was interested in her but he is mature person, once he got to know that FL is not into him, he goes back to HQ.

In drama she portrayed 15-16 years old girl , captured by man who killed her parents. She did funtastic job to portray captured , still spoiled princess. And because of this I liked her , Now she has chess minister with her and her people she has to learn martial arts and do a job as princess. And for that Teresa Li is not suitable. In novel Jiang Ni is also top martial artist and Teresa Li is not suitable for martial arts. So if they are changing role then they will go for girl who can fight, and domineering FL.
