I like the female lead's looks but man is she useless. I keep waiting for the character to grow stronger but she is far too clueless and helpless for my taste.

I've been trying to move from episode 3 for some time now. I cringed a lot with the portrayal of the soldiers with the foreign soldiers. The scenes just seemed so fake. LOL Then the second couple seemed more interesting to me. I might try to force myself to finish it though.

Great article. Usually I only experience mild feelings of sadness after a drama ends. However, if it's a tragic ending and I was completely invested in the story and relationships, I must admit I experience sadness to the point of disturbed sleep and appetite. To combat this I try to quit drama for a while and start reading books or watching American and British shows.

Well, a chinese historical so most likely a tragic ending. :/ Still...this article makes me want to try it...
LOL So true. The few historical ones I've watched ended tragically for the lovers and I think this one will too if you look at the opening and ending themes.

Excellent drama. I really enjoyed the politics and the purging of the imperial court by our hero. The story of the injustice from the past is so tragic. So many lives lost. Mei Chang Su was simply brilliant. There is much to regret about his story but in the end, the story concluded in a bittersweet way for me. This is definitely a show I would watch again. I really liked the way that the story grew rather than remaining caught up with a single wrongdoer for the duration of the story like it normally does in the Korean historical drama. That made it particularly enjoyable for me.

It does have a little bit of romance in it that I think was nicely done because of the way it showcases loyalty, trust and the longevity of love in both cases of the female warriors. I found that very touching. Likewise I found it brotherhood relationships nicely done. I liked the debates but I found Mei Chang Su's debate with the emperor the most powerful near the end of the drama. Excellent, excellent drama.

Where is ep 14????
The schedule here shows that it is suppose to end this coming Tuesday but there are 3 episodes left. So does that means this show really ends on November 21st?

This drama is interesting. My only complaint is why did they have to invent a love triangle. I never even entertained a thought of the young lawyer getting together with her. I thought his role would be to grow and learn from her as his senior and that all of them will collaborate on the overarching story of the homeless girls. I didn't think love was in the cards for the young lawyer and her.

Generally speaking, people should know by now that CHEMISTRY is a subjective thing. I can't tell you how many times in discussions about drama, tv shows, manga, movies and novels I see people heatedly discussing ships that are perceived to have chemistry and some none. It obviously proves that people perceive chemistry differently. To me everybody's opinion of chemistry is valid. Some say that the couple in Secret Garden had sizzling chemistry and I think they had good chemistry but I liked the second couple's chemistry and love story better. Does that mean that my opinion is superior to theirs? No. We are all just touched in different ways by different couples. That's why I think chemistry is subjective and people should just agree to disagree. That's my two cents. :)

Title The Heirs
I hesitated to watch this drama because of all the negativity I read about it. Still, I decided to give it a try.

I found it very joyless and too heavy on the melodramatic side. I remember reading some comments that the character Doung Yo was very interesting so I was expecting something exciting. I can only say that everybody has his/her own opinion because while his dialogue was interesting at times, the character made my blood boil for the first 14 episodes. In short, I despised him. All I saw was the classic bully complete with the required sob story who expressed himself as a bully to the mark and in terms of love, acted like the five year old who pulls the hair of the girl he likes at the playground to get her attention. Basically, a character with the emotional maturity of a five year old. Quite frankly, he made the drama insufferable for me. Thankfully he was redeemed in the end but I really liked how the kid he bullied told him he would never forgive him for what he did to him and he should feel guilty all his life. I also liked the way Kim Tan dealt with him every time he tried to blackmail him with the knowledge of Tan's family situation.

I wish the drama had more lighter scenes. I don't know if I would watch it again because of all the angst.

What can I say. I really love this guy. He's the only one that actually make me want to do a favorite actors lists. I want to see him in more lead roles in Korean drama.

The lead character Oh Hae Young is, at first, pitiful but then she becomes really annoyingly pathetic and pushy…
I kind of understand what you're saying. She does whine a lot and I too find it annoying.

However, I find the pretty Oh Hae Young very shallow. I can't believe I'm the only one that thinks that she could have stopped her fans from saying derogatory things to the other Oh Hae Young by correcting their behavior. She seemed to condone and even enjoy the others putting the other one down by the way she laughs and smile right along with those people as if that girl has no feelings. I also find it really annoying how she latches onto the other Hae Young as if they are buxom buddies. Frankly, I find it creepy. Why doesn't she go try to bond with the people who worship her. Since she hasn't made a genuine attempt at building a relationship with the other Oh Hae Young since when she was young until now, I find her very superficial in trying to attach herself to the other Hae Young without a genuine start.

Imagine how cool it would be if the main murderer is... Zi Yu? lol I didn't read the novel nor do I plan to before…
Personally I hope it's not him because it would be too banal considering that this type of trope occurs a lot in criminal shows and novels. I'd be disappointed because it would just a possibility I expected considering the small cast. It's kind of like how I figured out the true murderer in Girl Who Can See Scents even before he was revealed.

This show is truly epic! For me it's like one of those shows that comes along once every few years that just leaves one speechless. The story is not only beautifully told but riveting from beginning to the end. It's not only the breathtaking romance that captivates but also the relationships between the characters such as the friendship between the three male leads or the relationship between the heroine and her blood guilty father. However, I have to admit the main romance is so splendidly done and superbly acted that it has left an extremely deep impression on me. That's a first for me with Kdrama. The dialogue is really well done too. It's the only drama I've watched where the lines stick in my head. The cinematography is very beautiful and the OST is perfectly befitting of this poignantly portrayed story. The entire cast did a fantastic job but I have to commend PSH and MCW for the electrifying and emotional chemistry that they brought to the two star crossed lovers. They were simply perfect in their roles as these two lovers and as their respective characters of Seung Yoo and Se Ryung.

I know it's on Dramafever. Perhaps you can try there. It used to be on Viki too but I'm not so sure if it's still there.
