Most recent episode was great for me. The side characters that I didn't like in the beginning are having good…
I’m hoping that the writers decide against pairing up Bong Hui and Seung Don. Not sure how that would work given Gang Ju’s mother has moved back in with Seung Don in the house that was formerly her fathers. Will he move Bong Hui in there. And he would go from being Gang Ju’s stepfather to stepfather in-law. Hopefully they will just put him back with Gang Ju’s mother…
And I’m pretty sure at the end Cha Rim and Tae Woong will be together no matter how they tease us otherwise…The writer was able to redeem Cha Rim, hopefully they can redeem Tae Woong (ordering Cha Rim out of the car and rejecting her request for money without asking why she needs it) as I think he may love her but doesn’t respect her (although in the past she probably didn’t give him lots of reasons to respect her). A complex couple.
Oh, of course, he should’ve just hugged his mom for trashing his career, wrecking his reputation and ruining…
Don’t think he should have hugged her, but putting handcuffs on her was too extreme. I was expecting it to be a fake out dream similar to other instances. Disappointed that he actually went there.
So what decent son puts his mother in handcuffs? While Cha Rim has become more likable, Mu Rim hasn't improved at all. His confrontation with his mom was all about him - he was all "me, me, me" "did you think about me", "what about me". Mu Rim's character comes across as joyless, always grim and dismal. Can't recall him smiling even once...
Early on I didn't want Cha Rim to end up with Tae Woong because I thought he deserved better, now I don't want them to end up together because I think she deserves better than him. Tae Woong whole storyline has been unbelievable (I'm hoping he fails as the Director at his dad's company). I like his character less and less as the drama goes on and he should stop with the matchmaking...
I'm also hating the potential romance between Bong Hui and Ji Seung...
It's been a long time since I've watched a weekend drama where I disliked so many of the characters. At this point I'm only rooting for Gang Ju and Da Rim (they seemed to be the only ones exposed to the money and not corrupted by it). I am finding nothing likable in Gang Ju's stepfather, Tae Woong, Da Rim's mother, Da Rim's aunt and most of the others. And I certainly hope one of the future storylines isn't a romance between Gang Ju's stepfather and Da Rim's mother (although early on the drama gave vibes that Da Rim's mother might have had a crush in the past on Gang Ju's stepfather).
this show is just such perfection! also will be following this director from now on because wow 😍
The Director is fabulous. His short dramas are all real gems, including A Familiar Stranger, Provoke, Destined To Meet You, The Killer is Also Romantic...
where can I watch it other than youtube because the subtitles are weird in YouTube
VIKI has good subtitles for this drama. Also, this drama doesn't require a VIKI VIP Pass to watch (but if you don't have a VIP Pass you will have to watch a few commercials during the drama). Viki has combined the 22 episodes down to 11, so each episode is about 30 minutes long instead of 15.
Having a hard time getting into the father/son bonding between Ji Seung Don/Cha Tae Ung, especially given Ji Seung Don's horrible treatment of Gang Ju. Also, still dislike Cha Rim and am not enjoying her "romance" with Cha Tae Ung.
Actually not liking the secondary romance with Tae Woong and Cha Rim. He deserves better than her. Unfortunately, I know that they are end game but not liking Cha Rim at all. The primary romance with Gang Ju and Da Rim is getting better.
I love weekend dramas when written well, such as Once Again. What other weekenders have you given a 8+ rating…
Five Enough (2016), Family's Honor (2008), Famous Princesses (2006), My Husband Got A Family (2012), Giant (2010), Ojakgyo Brothers (2011), My Father is Strange (2017), Seo Young My Daughter (2012), Smile You (2009)
Please tell me Toni's character gets better in the upcoming eps. I can't stand Dr. Win be so so against Shone!
Dr Win should have been fired for physically assaulting Dr Shone or at a minimum severely reprimanded by the hospital administration... Same with Dr Pleum...
So both Dr Win and Dr Pluem physically assault Dr Shone with zero repercussion? Both should have been immediately fired, especially Dr Win, who is supposed to be a professor. So far, Dr Win appears lousy as a professor and as a person... Dr Pluem is just incompetent...
hmmm... finding most of the characters in this drama not likable. Definitely, not a loving, supportive family, especially Cha Rim and Mu Rim who clearly only care about themselves.
Didn't understand the timeline. Cha Rim complains that mother only liked Da Rim and would come into the room at night and only check on Da Rim. Mother indicates Da Rim went blind at 20, so we have Cha Rim complaining about something that happened when she was over 20 years old?

i do continue to really like Gang Ju and Da Rim.
