This might be a tad long but bear with me, I just need to get my thoughts out. I'll probably split up to make…
This is i believe the 3rd drama with Kim soo Hyun as the lead(2 i think are AMAZING) but he plays the same brooding, self sabotaging character that literally refuses to open his mouth and tell people whats going on until the last 3 episodes which does nothing but drag the story. Any time I see Na Young-Hee (Song I's mom) I know she's gonna be a terrible mother that im gonna hate for the entire series. I want to sympathize with her dad but naw abandoning your kids for TWELVE years & living in a "woe is me" state when you couldve just shown up at any time is pathetic. plus he literally didnt have a single conversation with his son. I get the 2nd male lead only loved & wanted to support Song I, he wasnt a bad guy at all but i cant stand one sided obsessions which is why Im glad they didnt write him & the se-mi getting together. AND Se-mi annoying ass being a bitter jealous hater letting her mom get in her ear ruining her friendship with Song I 🤦🏿♂️. Mr Jang great guy but him constantly trying to stop Min-joon became annoying. Min-Joon has been here 400 years let him be happy whether he died or went to his planet the end result would be the same & everyone would be just as heartbroken and depressed no matter what because they'd never see him again.
This might be a tad long but bear with me, I just need to get my thoughts out. I'll probably split up to make it more tolerable.
My brain is a mixed bag of emotions right now regarding this show. Overall I liked & enjoyed this series. Not the BEST drama I've seen but Def a fun watch since I binged in 2 days. That being said I feel like this story definitely could've been wrapped up in 12 episodes 16 MAX. I dont think I've seen a cast of so many people i didnt like since All of us are dead(the characters not the actors themselves) There's only 3 characters that literally didnt piss me off. song I, Her little brother, & her friend (comic shop owner).
started this series forever ago but finally finished it after starting/finishing Strong girl Bong Soon yesterday, & im still curious on how Nam Soon & her family has super strength, speed, hearing, and sight but Bong Soon only had Super strength.
I still have to finish strong girl Nam soon but I know Bong Sun made in appearance in an episode. at the time I thought these shows were remakes of each other but Im curious as to why Bong Sun seems so much weaker than Nam soon? Nam Soon has enhanced sight, hearing, speed, and strength. whereas Bong Sun only has super strength.
this is probably the first series of anything that I've watched in its entirety and I genuinely didnt know what the plot was until like the last 3 episodes. whether thats good or bad they kept me invested enough to finish it, but now im seeing a season 2 is upcoming and the sus meter is rising...
although it's been like 3 years since i completed the show, i still remember that scene lmao. i watched 2521 after…
im fairly new to kdramas and started binge watching them since January this year so I watched 25/21 a few months ago so it's fresh in my mind. so that scene lowkey made me want to cry but I couldnt help but laugh. So many emotions flared 🤣
I was prepared to hate the next part too, especially after being thoroughly gutted by the ending of part 1. But…
yeah after I posted that I went to look at part 2 & saw that it was only 10 episodes & it instantly relieved my concern for pacing, but my issue for pacing in part 1 wasnt necessarily because of the story(much) but mainly the constant stare offs, holding each other for 5 minutes panning to 3 different views lol moments like those just feel like too much added fluff to prolong episodes & its just a pet peeve of mine in Asian dramas cause it happens SOOO MUCH 🤣🤣
Just finished part 1. I'm not a big fan of Historical fantasy because they feel "too extra" or "low production" with the powers imo which is cringe to me so this took me a WHILE to finish. It took me about 4 to 5 episodes for me to get interested enough in the plot & I took about 2 to 3 hiatuses from the series & had to fast forward through alot cause I felt scenes dragged for too long. All that to say depending on your tastes of dramas this is definitely a slow burn but once I locked in I was hooked & wanted to see how the story unfolded. *MAJOR END SPOILERS AHEAD*
once I got to the episode 15 mark my biggest question was since I know there's a part 2 my biggest concern was what that plot point was going to be about since everything seemed to be wrapping up pretty nicely.
I've seen a lot of people say they prefer part 1 over part 2 but I dont recall people saying its outright bad, but I see completely where that concern comes from. *SPOILER* Everything was wrapping up fine people are happy secrets exposed but of course last minute Mu Deok gets mind controlled & exposed & is public enemy No1. I knew it was going to happen but I hated how THAT is what made the series go into a Part 2 because if that's what the main plot point is going to be i feel like this next part is going to DRAG pacing wise even worse than part 1. So right now I probably won't start part 2 because im high on emotions and I'll be going into it too agitated so I'll probably have to start tomorrow after work.
Korea isnt beating the cant drive allegations. literally almost every drama somebody getting hit with a car in…
just finished and I enjoyed this drama but the ending was weak and left alot to be desired. so many unanswered questions and plot points left open. the last 2 episodes imo were the most emotional, I couldnt hold back a few tears lmao. like I said enjoyable series just didnt completely stick the landing in the end.
it keeps you engaged with the fascination of evil。 but the big flaw here was the final episode: a whole drama…
from what I saw the person who was killed was the main FL Little brother. they still never showed us the "dirt" he had on her. he was a pos and deserved to die
I dont want to bash the series but I will say it was ultimately disappointing. I loved the mystery of the murder that's what kept me engaged and the sound track was really good, but I hated how they tried to "victimize" the aggressors of the series and tried to give them a sob story i genuinely did not care and wanted kang Ha to burn everything to the ground. It being 7 episodes was definitely its saving grace.
he did not die.. did you watch the drama till the end??? his son brought him to the future thats why he, himself…
I understand his body was never found he was still pronounced dead. figuratively or literally its still the same in the context of the scene. It isnt hard to put 2 and 2 together to figure out the son went and brought him to the future but the execution was still poor and imo felt like a waste of time. the ending was just abrupt and felt cheap
Gwi Ju's death make no sense. If he went back in time that means his body disappeared so he avoided getting crushed. So after he saved Da hae he literally just couldve went back to the present & he would've been perfectly fine. The basically killed him off for no reason. that made the ending so meh imo
In Hye (the little sister) is a very annoying character. you have 2 sisters who go through hell and high water to take care of and support her, but at every turn she abandons them and acts like no one is in her corner and its extremely frustrating. instead she sides with the girl whose family is making her families life a living hell.
idk if its just me but im on episode 7 im enjoying the story but the way they do the time jumps makes hit really hard to follow which character is which for me
