Great review, I agree with most aspects and especially the cackle queen, I loved that name for her and my biggest pet hate was all the speeches, every event involved some speech or another, ho hum 🥱 I started zoning out, although some speeches are necessary, like Aragon giving his famous speech before the gates of doom “ not this day” to inspire and give courage and hope, WG just delivered too many of those speeches and it became a little ordinary after a while.
I think for me its an 8 also good blance between pros and cons. 👍

Yes, I was watching episode 5 and Ling’er could have said we are married and yes my grandmother approved of our marriage or XiaoYao could have said, I have no parents my Aunt wants us to marry, or any variable from that 🤷🏻‍♀️
I was actually disappointed at the writing from this scenario, but I guess it all makes for fluffing up the episodes a bit longer and how they get out of this “ misunderstanding “ ???

Oh, do you not think the ML helped and helps in his own way, he was protecting her books and didn’t report her for trying to hide anything etc?
I do love Shen from ep 1 so hopefully he will show some interest in helping them.

I love Caesar Wu so was going to have 2ML syndrome as his character Shen he watched her walk out in the rain and didn’t even offer her his umbrella, not much of a gentleman then . Thoughtless? Or cowardly of being implicated as siding with the Hua family?

I have watched 4 episodes and it’s actually quite good so far, good pacing, likeable characters, the amnesia trope is a little annoying but I guess all will be revealed and its great that Furong is less self serving than in Sheng Li 👍😂

I loved this drama and especially the main 3 characters, big smile on my face during ep 12.
Probably would skip ep 11 as its a bit of a tropey episode but the rest I loved ❤️❤️❤️

Yes agree with you Do Ra is great as an older character in her 20s , ML whichever name he goes by was very different as you say.

Why did the ML change his name to Go Pil Sung? Did I miss something.
Anyway it was a bit iffy first 3 episodes but ep 4 was fun and I didnt want it to end.

Yes, I noticed that look on her mothers face also, the mother is obviously not paying off the building. I just dont get what she is doing with all the money her daughter is making. Its going to be sad when she finds out.

I am constantly moved by their acting abilities, that was such a sad scene. We have the racoon scene to ease the tension a little bit .

I think MoFang is young master also, which is sad really because I had 2ML syndrome and ML syndrome haha. I do think MoFang will save her though, he loves her too much to destroy or help others destroy her, thats my feeling anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

We don’t need romance in every drama, this one is going along nicely without any steamy kiss scenes and Allen Ren rumours of zero kiss scenes. Has he ever actually had a kiss scene, I cannot remember but I have not watched him in everything.

Definitely let’s hopefully be rid of cackle queen, I also don’t feel a romantic chemistry between WG and BC, they are so much a brother and sister routine.
