My sentiments exactly, I love the cast, except MaRong, love the action scenes, production quality again excellent, just doesn’t hit the mark. Yes, I was annoyed and shocked at that also, now Ning will distract ZhichuanXiu and cause all sorts of problems for everyone. I really was giving her the benefit of the doubt and hoping for some character development, but alas, I was wrong again, Ning is regressing in character. I do not have much faith in the next 2 episodes, Ning is turning into ML from FFL scenario.

Thank you for the comparison of the Three Kingdoms versions, I have never liked Cao Cao character in the dramas I have watched whether true to history or not. I do find him a villain mostly. Back to this year’s drama release, very disappointing so far.
