I’m really invested after ep 5. I liked it before but was not sure where this drama was headed apart from the obvious romance between the leads etc. I love the balance between law related cases, companionship between the cast whilst dining out and all the feels for each individual member of the cast. Very unique way of tying everything in. I had to share a tear 😢 with the guy who drunkenly lifted the watch and also for the exposure of one of the supposedly privileged cast members. We will find out more tomorrow. Can’t wait for next episode.

I don't think there was ever any coming back for him as a character after he attempted to rape Mudan in part 1.
It is sad whichever way we look at it 🥲 I actually wished they were obsessed with eachother but that would not give us as many episodes for dramatic effect to the end .

My view also, how can someone empathise with a delusional character like that. I get people love Miles Wei but the character should be separate to the actor. He creeps me out in every episode.

You are 💯 correct with recent dramas quality of viewers experience and I have dropped quite a few recently as I am not invested in the characters or their outcome, this one included. I have punished myself enough waiting for an excellent drama to watch, not doing that to myself again. Still there are many who are enjoying this, so hopefully its a HE for everyone 👍
