I did eventually drop the drama because of the FL, as you say a very unlikeable character and not many redeeming moments. I dont buy into their chemistry so that was it for me. I have a theory that they dumb down and make these FL unnatractive as characters so we can admire the ML even more for falling for her. I don’t think such unappealing behaviour warrants my devotion to rhe drama . Plenty more fantastic dramas to watch just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn’t black list it, Cheng Yi was excellent in it as usual, I just couldn’t watch the tragedy of his life in the drama and yes his love interest married his brother for political reasons, all very sad 😢

Cheng Yi’s drama was The Promise Of Chang’an, I couldn’t watch all of it , so heartbreaking 💔 even though I watch all of his dramas, but nope couldn’t cope with that one.
