Damn the whole time I was watching I kept wondering why Hajime’s brother-in-law looked so familiar, and I just realized he’s Kijima, the main actor from "The Novelist" and "Mood Indigo"!😭 I loved that series.
I was really looking forward to this series because of the trailer, and also because I’d seen the actor playing the employer in a few other dramas. But honestly, I ended up disappointed. The editing is terrible, scenes suddenly cut to something completely unrelated and you have no idea what you’re supposed to take from it. The pacing and timeline are a mess. The soundtrack is awful. The student’s reactions make no sense at all. The two leads have zero chemistry here; they were way better together in their previous drama. I expected this series to be hot, but it just comes off weird instead. And seriously, why did they re-dub it with the actors’ own voices ? It sounds so out of place and makes everything worse. And honestly, I don’t think it’s just a budget issue. I’ve seen plenty of low-budget and even shorter Korean BLs that were way better than this.
