Yeah, they could have done better!

The comedic timing is so good. Had so much fun watching this. I wonder if that is Li Yi Tong's own voice, I like hearing it (reminds me a little of Bai Lu) . Liu Yu Ning's expressions are so comical! All 6 episodes so far were so damn enjoyable!

Oh thank god, someone thinks the same. A lot of people in the comments like it and I thought they are gonna come at me. But some dramas are like that you like it and then others dont.

I won't be suprised if they add another twist.

It has been all over the place since it started, the moment you start thinking okay I know where this going, bam, it isn't. Yeah Bai Lu has wowed me since a long time, Joseph Zeng is reaching a new heights with this character. Of course sometimes it is funny.

I am honored to be called pretentious. But it is not just based of how much they butchered the book. Even without the book, the script for Flourished Peony isn't well-written or well-executed enough. But if you like it then you like it. It is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I think giving it a 7.5 is also a stretch. had I not liked the actors so much, I would have rated it much lower. When I watched Princess Royal for the first time, it was a blockbuster for me. I rated it 9 because it was so entertaining. Anyways, Princess Royal also had its issues, but fortunately not as much as Flourished Peony. Don't take it to heart, I am not dropping it because I am hoping they can salvage it in the second half. It does have good visuals though.

Love the rich friendship . It is heartwarming and fun. Of course any character played by Landy Li is always a joy to watch. I have lost the count of times I have cursed out the ML as a character. Yeah we all like pretty faces to look at, does it mean we have to be such a prick about it?

So far it is good and the actors are doing a good a job. The story is quite relatable, pacy, and a bit fun. They are focusing on the issue of beauty standards but I am not sure how it is going to unfold.

The first episode had me! I am enjoying the friendship between the girls. I like how the drama is exploring the reality of filters and changing expectations of beauty that even makeup cannot conjure.

Ooh, I haven't managed to complete that one. Started out, but as soon as realized I wouldn't be able to handle that ending, I put it on hold. But she won me over with her performance as Ye Tan in The Starry Love.
