Same!! Been dropping so many dramas since Fated Hearts.. I’m fully invested in this one!
My last obsession was S&L in December. And yes I’ve watched other dramas but mostly I’ve dropped, or revisited the ones I’ve dropped. I’ll be honest. I did not have much anticipation on this one. Maybe because I am one of the very few who is not a XLH fan. I just played it while nothing to watch while I was off work and now I am hooked. So far, I really like everything in this drama. I finally have a new drama that I am over the moon!
I’ve become picky w/ the dramas I watch. I tend to lose interest, eventually dropping dramas, & maybe revisit after a while. I don’t pay much attention to ratings. As long as I like it, I’m all in. I’m not even a huge fan of ZLH. There’s no drama of his that I finished but here, his acting is different. It might be a bit early but I look forward to each new episode. And - I don’t skip! That would say a lot how much I love this!
I will but I probaby can’t. I need to heal first. Like move on to a different drama realm. Maybe an American/European/Turkish series might be a cure. Then I can go back to cdrama world. Otherwise SAL is all I think. It’s like going to another relocating to another country or different environment to move on. Haha I’m probably not making sense. lol
It is. Now, my sadness of letting go is silent and gradual. I thought I’m ready to immerse in another cdrama or any drama. But I was wrong. I still find myself coming back to SAL. Thinking about Zhao zhao & Mu mu. I keep scrolling for any dramas to watch in Viki, iQiyi, Youku, Netflix but that’s it - scrolling. Perhaps starting and putting it on hold or dropping it just because I can’t find that feeling. I know I’m starting to sound crazy haha

At first, I was like - "I don't like his hair..etc." And then my friend who is older than me said just try a few episodes.. and the rest is history.. this was probably in 2-4 yrs. ago.. and it became one of those dramas I rewatched every now & then. So when I knew he's the ML in SAL - I was over the moon!! :)

😩😩🥹🥹😭😭Ep.1 of SAL, I already knew it was worth the wait. I know it’s not perfect & I see some unpleasant comments about it but I could care less. I loved it - that’s all that matters fo me! I’m now on episode 4 of Shine on me.. I’ll give it another few episodes & we’ll see.. otherwise I have to rewatch some of my old unforgettable dramas to move on..

😭😩☺️ I am not. I wish I could go back to day 1. I know there are many great and highly anticipated dramas & some have let me down. TFF & SAL didn’t & both got me really good. I would sound weird if I keep talking about it. haha.. so I am slowly trying to move on..😩😭
It’s been almost a week since I completed & rewatched SAL. I finished Dynamite Kiss because it’s been on hold for a while & felt that I just had to. I’m sure it was a great drama. For DK fans, please don’t hate me for this but it almost felt like a chore to finish it. I wasn’t that engaged & pressed fast forward many times. Then I i circled back to SAL, found myself liking everything about He Yu & Esther & SAL. My feed is full of them. I have been excited to watch Ming Hao & Song Yun’s drama - still am but will wait until it’s almost complete. Tonight I started Shine on me - 2nd attempt. I was able to get halfway of the 2nd episode and I’ll be honest, while watching, I keep seeing Zhao zhao & Mu mu moments several times. And when I do, it almost feels like missing something/someone in the past. 🥹 Anyway, just thought post what I feel atm in my little drama world.

💯 Early 2025, TFF brought me so much longing & happiness. Took a while to move on, learned the chorus of ost. After several normal dramas in between, my most awaited drama for months came on & I’m back in this familiar emptiness. 😩 What a way to end 2025. 😞
Ok. I take back when I said I’m letting go after rewatching 3x. I’m back to watching some parts only - especially that staircase piggyback while 🎵Still Waiting is playing, crossing that muddy path, & rooftop kiss. ☹️😩😢
