Does anyone know anything about the drama's filming? Because I saw news on Facebook about the suspension of filming due to a disagreement between the production team's and the sponsors' vision for the final result? It would be a shame if the title just gets stuck and remains unfinished.
With adaptation, cant really tell its direction based on novel cuz many production deviates. Based on A Moment…
I’m not at all against sad endings. But I don’t like when angst is added just for the sake of it. I’ve only watched one of Ren Jialun’s dramas — The Demon Hunter's Romance — and I absolutely loved it. I wouldn’t even call the ending sad. To me, it felt more like an open ending — there were scenes at the end that didn’t quite fit with the conclusion, and I see that as a setup for a sequel. Of course, there aren’t even semi-official rumors about it.
But now I want to watch something with a finished and clearly happy ending. I started The Blue Whisper, but the plot makes me a bit uneasy. After the completeness of The Demon Hunter's Romance, it feels somewhat clumsy. Or maybe I’m just being too picky.
That’s why I’ve been paying attention to the upcoming dramas that haven’t been released yet. I’m really looking forward to their premieres and hoping for an interesting storyline. Because with a strong plot, I can still handle a sad ending.

I didn’t watch the title “A Moment but Forever” because I’m not a fan of any of the actors who starred in it, and the plot didn’t interest me during the promotional campaign. So I don’t really know what to expect from the screenwriter. They say that if Ren Jialun is in a drama, it’s almost a 100% guarantee of no happy ending. I’m not a big fan of HE, but I do wish that this actor could at least occasionally have a good ending without any “but.”
For those who have read the novel or followed the filming — tell me, which ending should I expect? Because I won’t survive another The Demon Hunter’s Romance (or something similar).
That usually happens when an account is deleted (though sometimes content stays behind with a nonexistent link,…
Thank you for the detailed reply. Right now, a lot of photos and videos from the filming have appeared on social media. But it’s a pity that the ones here disappeared. We’ll just have to wait for the release – I’ve crossed every finger I possibly can.

Of course, we’ll wait. We’ve already waited for 2 years, so a few more months is nothing. It’s just that there have been so many rumors, and none of them came true, that it’s scary to get our hopes up.

It’s sad. Because the review process can take months. Moreover, the author of the original work criticized the Chinese authorities, so the chances of getting a license are quite low.
Please tell me, has the drama been submitted for review and licensing, or has it already obtained the broadcast permit? Because those are two different things.
I really hate this poster. It is not even official poster from drama's crew and just some AI concept poster for…
No one knows the exact number of episodes. Douban lists 40 episodes, while Dramawiki says 36. I think you should contact the administration and point out the inconsistencies.
iQIYI is not Tencent. They have their own strategy, and neither the actors nor we as fans can influence it. Do you really think it’s worth worrying about because of that?
Teams that specialize in film production work differently from those that focus on dramas. Only sponsors can influence such things — and even then, only partially. I’m not a sponsor, so I have no say in this. Are you a sponsor? That’s why I also don’t see any reason to stress over the filming pace.
As for me, I’m a fan of Deng Wei himself, not the original novel. I do what I can: I upload filming photos to this site, I translate Deng Wei’s dramas into my native language, I’ve reserved both of his upcoming titles — this one and The Clouds — on the international iQIYI platform, and I’ve paid for a VIP account there. That’s all I can do and influence. The rest is out of my control. I just believe that Wei-ge knows what he’s doing.
Filming is still ongoing. It’s just taking place in indoor studios where paparazzi have no access. Everyone…
As I see it, this looks like a normal filming process, managed by the director and their team, not by the audience. Their job is to produce the highest quality product possible, not to cater to the desires of people who aren't involved in the filming process.
If you don't like everything happening around this title, perhaps it's worth focusing on a different series where things proceed as everyone is used to?
And how does that hinder filming? The presence of a voiced or unvoiced cast? Don't forget that the team working on the drama isn't typical. The director primarily specializes in big-budget films. Look at this film here https://kisskh.at/767111-yu-zhou-sheng-cun-zhi-nan . How is the cast in that one? And it's getting ready for release (filmed a long time ago). So, don't worry. Breathe deeply. And focus on the positive.
