Will itctake long for her to fall for him? 90% of the time, so that's like until ep 21? Im only in ep6 so maybe…
I warned you. That’s not even the worst situation.

Exactly my thought....I m now watching ep 22. She has become super cocky. WOW!!! She can take her father's help…
Just non sense. Then they look at each other and hug and it’s all better. Smh

I don't know what the ML sees in the FL. Sure, they have their sweet moments -- when the FL isn't a bitch. She…
I dropped the rating because her character was ridiculous. Who wrote her lines? It’s almost like she has no common sense. The jealousy was definitely warranted. She’s the only one that didn’t think so. If she actually cared, she’d put herself in his place and think about how it would feel. Her character is one of the worst I’ve seen, her character alone turned what was suppose to be a romantic comedy, into a tragedy. So many times I was thinking “man just leave her.”

in truth, if you’re looking for a romantic series to watch, I advise you to drop it now. It’s not romantic, at least not be me. For the first 10 episodes she treats him like he wronged her or like he’s a villain. When they finally do get together, she still don’t treat him good. She puts her career before him in a way that beyond annoying. She disregards his feeling 99% percent of the time. Example: another guy likes her and because she works with him she disregards the husband concerns.

Spoiler

She is caught a few times with him (innocently but still wrong) and the husband gets angry and she gets mad because her husband is mad. That time of stuff. This goes on and on at least up to ep 21.

Once her husband walked into the room and saw the guy fixing her hair he was really mad and told her she needed to leave. She got mad.
Another time, she stays out all night and he gets angry, she again gets mad that he is mad.
Another time, she stood him up and the husband watched as the other guy drops her off. He is angry and then she gets angry because he is angry.

She disguises all of his frustrations as a lack of regard for her work. By episode 18, I wanted to say end this. There are some good moments but not enough to make it recommendable.

My thought: what planet is she from to not understand how this looks.

Although she never really does anything, I still find her naive and selfish.

Am I the only one that thinks the female lead is unreasonable? 90% of the series, the male lead is sweet, caring, nurturing and she does things that just don’t match up. She seemed nice but indifferent. At this point I’m watching because the ML is pretty awesome (his character)

No she did not have good character development even by the end of show. She has this thing where she never communicates…
I thought it was just me I felt that way. just watched episode 16 and she is still self centered and often indifferent to the male leads feelings. That to me makes it not great. There are things that don’t make sense. Here’s an example (spoiler)

Male lead walks into an office space and sees another guy lovingly fixing her hair. ML gets mad and punches the guy. ML takes her out of the room and she shouts at him telling him it’s none of his business and that she has her own career and wants to end things.

TBH that is not development. It’s weird. Imagine if it were the male lead with another female in his hair. Would you blame her for getting mad. Nope. But in this series we can be angry at someone for justifying their outrage. She lacks understanding.

They probably saw Nothing But Thirty, felt defeated, and gave up.
Smh. I truly believe that it had the making of something great. What was the message, “Life is touch.” I think we all know that but who wants to watch it without a victory. I heard someone mention a second season. Facts: it won’t be in my watch list.

i wanna know why in the world the screenwriter would think this ending was ok. great acting but sadly, the ending…
My thoughts exactly. Three seemingly happy women wanted more out of life, tried to go for it and they suffered and barely managed to survive. Massive collateral damage, but they lived. The end.

I dropped my rating. What type of ending was this? What are the writers trying to say? First of all the beginning was very positive you had a really good vibe. The middle got somewhat sad but you just naturally assumed that there was going to be this epic moment where they overcame everything and show their power but it never happened. Let down

IKR, everybody alone. At least in the beginning they were somewhat happy. I feel like I just watched the downfall of an empire, LOL

I’ll be the oddball again and say my thoughts. i say oddball because my opinion seems to be different from everyone else. I think the goal of this series was to show the strength of women and I think that is absolutely amazing because these women are strong, smart and very capable. With that being said I don’t want to overlook the other matters within the series. To me it just seems like no one is really willing to acknowledge the faults of these women. It’s almost like they had no part to play in the problems that they have. Please share the blame with everyone else. For that reason I cannot wish for the meals to all have a terrible ending with the exception of Yi Ming (I just can’t get past it)

Zhi Zhi fault- she embarrassed her husband in so many ways. She took him out and introduced him as this person with all these skills and degrees, making her husband feel like he wasn’t enough for her. Imagine somebody introduces you as their partner and say she has a PhD in something when you really don’t . Its like he’s embarrassed by what you do have. She kept trying to blend in with the rich people disregarding her husbands thoughts and encouragement. She started hanging out serving the other when. Her need to get approval from others caused trouble in their marriage.

Liu Yang- did not handle history as well and did not stick up for his wife with his mother when he should have. Went to another woman instead of his wife and he was stressed out. Abandon his wife and child because he thought he be happier somewhere else. He embarrassed his wife and assaulted her in front of everyone. He dismissed her.

Yi Ming- his fault is that he lives in a fantasy world. He has an idea of what he wants his world to be like and and who he wants in it but when things didn’t go his way he ran. He has no real sense of loyalty. His loyalty seems to live with the person that he’s with which revealed to me that he has no foundation or sense of real loyalty at all. He is gullible.

Si Yu- Her only fault is that she lacks the ability to balance and seems to struggle with accepting others care. The truth is you Yi Ming loved her. I never felt that he would not support her or I didn’t want her to work however when she started to get sick he wanted her to stop and take a break. Initially when he made the comment that he didn’t think she was ready I don’t think it was the betrayal, it was care based on what the doctor said. She really seems like one of those people that is so driven and determined that she would really work herself to death. Sadly the people that love her would have to watch this because she does not know how to separate from work.

Instead everyone here (apparently) I love the chemistry between the Main Couple! But it's a shame! I'm so so sad…
Like I said 2 shades of crazy. So many entanglements it’s hard to enjoy. I could even go along with it but the younger sister is clearly more entertaining that the older, sadly she’s the one who I assume will die/disappear/leave. So much hope :(

Me through the whole of Ep 41: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Deflated now. Ep 43 and still nothing ?
Well, I’m a bit disappointed. The story is interesting but It is also a mess to me. I personally dislike complicated entanglements and this is exactly what is is. After reading some comments I was even more confused But I watched it anyway.

Spoiler below, be warned:::::

Too sum it up
Prince likes the older sister but ends up marrying the younger sister to get out of a trap. Younger sister likes someone else too. So what we get is the older sister swooning with her younger sisters husband and the younger sister infatuation with someone else. Younger sister is the empress but her sister visits and spends time with the husband. Y’all that’s 2 shades of crazy.

Right. Only 3 left and she still not happy. I’m going to be seriously mad if she don’t get a good ending. For me it’s like saying “career driven women can’t succeed.” Even her friends seem miserable. At this point I need one of the friends to be happy. :(

Me through the whole of Ep 41: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I am really not liking this right now. I was really hoping that she would get with the other guy that seemed mature but at this point it seems like she’s just gonna be alone. I know that we should be happy as long as she is successful but why can’t she have both love and her career. We are at episode 41 and we do not have any kind of indication of what’s going to happen and then there is really no sign of hope. Because I’m petty I wanted her to find a new love, have a baby and rub it in her exes face but I don’t feel like that’s going to happen so I am just hoping for love at this point LOL

Is this a good drama to binge?
I honestly don’t think this is one of those shows that you will want to binge watch. It is absolutely a slow burner. For me I don’t normally watch this type of series but I absolutely love shows that have a strong female lead. This series has one however it’s one of those shows where the domino effect happens. One thing happens and then another thing happens and none of it is good, but you keep watching because you’re hoping for some sort of gratification., revenge. ANYTHING that gives your character justice. It’s definitely a real world tape show however many may not like it because it has a somewhat melancholy vibe, it is not upbeat and there is really not a good source of romance here.

To summit up we have an ambitious female leader who is hard-working and determined. She is by no means feisty in the workplace or in relationships. However when it comes to her friends she’s passionate and borderline gangsta, lol.
