He divorced the first wife because the mother in law got thrown into jail for confronting the lying woman. She accused the mother in law for causing the miscarriage. The only way to save her was to divorce the wife. Tit for tat!

I honestly feel like the husband was the saddest character. I truly pitied him. Just remember what his dad said to the woman, “ my son was willing to break all ties to us for this woman, if you managed to separate them, you are clearly toxic.” He was essentially raped (yes it happens to men), blackmailed by the pregnancy, his wife left him, his mother in law thrown in jail (being falsely accused of causing the miscarriage), forced to divorce his wife to save the mother law from the charges, losing rights to his son and on top of that being stuck with the woman he didn’t even love (even though I’m sure he tried). She was genuinely evil while he was genuinely kind and sincere. He lost everything and was never able to get it all back. In the end he dropping his sons off to the love of his life and her husband. If that’s not jacked up, I do t know what is. I truly wished that the ex wife marriage was fake and she got back with her husband but nope, it was sad to the end. He seemed week but in actuality he was more conflicted and carried a since of guilt and sadness.

I was so hopeful, but it looks like the writers want to get every possible obstacle in before the show ends. 🥴. After 90 episodes they finally get together and now we have to deal with surprise I’m alive at the end. It’s not exciting, it’s an annoying cliche’ arc that’s wasting valuable time. Instead of us being able to see the leads develop their relationship we have to watch one more selfish character with less than 20 episodes left. I assume 10 or more episodes will wasted on this foolery. They couldn’t find any other arc? How about our lead secretly marry, how about sister n law secretly marries, how about the annoying daughter in law gets humbled, how about Mi Rae dad and baker lady announce a pregnancy. ANYTHING other than this guest appearance that will clearly lead us all to watch a cramped rushed ending because the writers wanted to keep the race to see who can be the most selfish character going to the end 😒😒😒😒😤 !! I’ll definitely take a hard pause now, so I can fast forward through this added nonsense.

I stopped watching at episode 8. It seemed like it was going to be good, so I wanted to wait until it’s nearly done. To my retreat, I read comments and found that the MIl is a nightmare and the writers are giving viewers whiplash and unrealistic events. Make up, breakup, disappearing. Ehhhh! I’m not sure I want to finish it now.

Actions speak louder. All she do is run her mouth and never adds value. Remember at one point Mi Rae made something for her grandpa and her sister in law pretended she made it. She was embarrassed when she got caught.

My thoughts exactly. They didn’t act that extreme me when the other guy admitted to using her and cheating. It’s unreal.

Y’all what happened to Mi Rae mom, she went straight hypocritical mode. Cant marry a widow with a child (she is a widow with a child, who was about to marry a widower with a child). She went from being kind to being condescending and looking down off others. I really thought she would be the first to want her daughter to be happy, but wow. The writers shoved a Jekyl and hide pill down her throat.

I don’t feel that it is complete. It seem more like a commercial break after a major event. That doesn’t mean that the series isn’t good, but I completely understand what you mean. Had I understood that season two would be directly connected to season one as in it is incomplete I probably would’ve waited, I personally don’t feel that I got the closure that I wanted for the female lead.

Of her daughter at that. Notice how they let her finish her insults then say “oh no be mindful of your words.” MR mom is a doormat to her dad and daughter in law. I was surprised when she hit the cheater. The sad part is she allows her dad to berate her adopted daughter without end.

They need to just stop giving JH wife screen time. She just cause trouble and talk down on people wherever she goes. She literally adds no value and they just tolerate her. Mother in law just lets her and never really puts her foot down. She literally disrespect her husband, MR and they just write it off like nothing. As quick witted as she is she’s still acts like everyone is after the families money (which isn’t hers) and acts like everyone is beneath them. It’s time for them to give time to KS and MR. I would prefer watching them marry and have a kid than another surprise and stupid conflict or these loose lip people that can’t hold water. And please oh please get KS friend sister off the screen (she has been rejected so many times and in such polite ways but she just won’t stop. It’s pathetic. With or without MR he doesn’t want her and won’t have her. Writers giver her some dignity and let her exit stage left.

Happy for progress but I’m not moved by the kiss. Engagement still intact. I can’t celebrate.

King has tried to break it off but what happens if he’s cornered. His fiancé is wicked but until he officially break it off it’s too risky. She knows it and Xuan told her too.

I feel weird for saying this, but I only feel the chemistry between her and Lui. Yes he is a jerk. Although the other guys are amazing and sincere, I just don’t feel that chemistry. What I do feel from the them is devotion or loyalty. Although the screen time is very minimal with Lui, it seems that they have much deeper conversations.

On another note this series is really causing me to reflect on myself, and why I am inclined to Lou instead of the others, considering that he has not been that kind to her for 90% of the series so far. Self reflection has been activated. 😔

At this point I’m ready for the leads to both move on to other things. The lies, back and forth, unreasonable request and breakups for people that never got together is very annoying.
