A good father doesn't continue to lie to a kid after they've reached the age of understanding either. KS should…
Exactly. He’s about o lose the only happiness he had to keep a lie going. It’s not like MiRae wouldn’t understand. I think I’d dump him for the lie just because. After her going through all of that, he couldn’t be honest. Absolutely no excuse. Throw the whole man away.
Why are they pushing back now. Only 4 episodes left and no one is getting married (except SJ ofcourse). Every…
I think you’re right about the 20 episodes. In truth not much significant things have happened, only good. Thing is she finds her dad. Everything else was ……..
I seriously can’t believe that this series is still in this state. There is no way for this mess to get better. 4 episodes left and we still in full fledge drama mood in a family drama. I would love to see them all happy but at this point I don’t even care. We’ll probably end up with a reasonable breakup at 18, a revelation at 19, a renuinfication at 20 and a wedding at 21. All while this psycho woman takes her healthy daughter after causing utter chaos and lives happily ever after. These writers/directors gave too much time to this crazy woman. I’m not liking the pregnant aunt either (lady you about 50 years old sneaking around like a teenager), the MIL (who clearly biased and has no real love for the man that’s been carrying them otherwise she wouldn’t allow her daughter to do this). KS (refusing to tell the truth like it’s a crime. Dude you are not her biological dad, big deal. I guess he wants to lie to her for her entire life). Crazy mom( disappears for a decade, remarries and comes back telling somebody that this man her husband. Lady you were remarried but I guess we all missed that.)
At this point, I want to throw the whole family away. Not one redeemable character except Mi Rae dad)
I think destined is a little better. The pacing and overall vibe is a better. You get a lot more laughs and sincerity. There many sweet and heartwarming moments. They both deal with political scheming but destined seems to incorporate family a lot more. I think the chemistry between the leads was a much better, not to mention growth that we as viewer saw. The leads in both are smart but the characters in destined are enough to pull you in. Most were likeable. With the legend I don’t feel we were given many likeable characters or people to cheer for.
Gaslighting someone into believing they have a mental illness so you can control them is a wrong whether a shortsighted…
I didn’t see where he assaulted her. I did see the episode where he pretended to rob her at home. Absolutely a crime. And of course the I did mentioned manipulation. Those were pretty screwed up.
N we had to wait till the weekend is over for new episodes
Right. I was hoping for relationship development but we got crazy instead. I enjoy a good twist but I absolutely hate rushed happy endings. Hopefully it’s smooth.
_The answer was number 3. But I don’t like this ending at all. Full of bullshit. Why did she have to go so far…
My thoughts exactly. He didn’t have a secret family. He wasn’t after money. He wanted her but because he lied about the ex, we have to view him as a criminal and the police come. 😂. She definitely ruined his life. He had profiles of women and choose her. That’s what dating profiles are. They should’ve added a real crime then it would have made sense.
My thoughts: other than his fake attack. He didn’t actually commit a crime. Series definitely exaggerated his supposed offense.
Facts: 1) he had bios of women looking for his ideal type 2) he dumped his girlfriend when he found the woman he wanted 3)the ex couldn’t handle it and tried hurt herself 3) he took care of her probably out of guilt 4)he lied to his wife about the sick ex and tried to control and manipulate her. 5) NONE OF THOSE ARE CRIMES!
Let’s be real here: Switch the genders. Do you feel more empathetic now? Was he after money? Nope, she clearly had none. He was after his ideal some. Controlling yes? Criminal? Not likely.
They are moving so fast here. Ep 105:-I agree now with Sher, JDs lineage reveal is likely to happen at end of…
His dad is a hot mess. He is definitely a gold digger and can’t seem to get his life right but when it comes to his son living his life and moving forward, he really feels genuine.
if the drama was anything like the stuff you listed, it would be soo much better
If you made it this far in this drama, I feel this is what we all deserved, harmony, peace and a happy ending. Not a rushed happy ending… Not cool b/c after putting up with all the selfishness and self sacrificing we got a glimmer of hope and then………….. It lasted 1 episode and they pulled the psycho card. I honestly told a friend if haven’t started the series, dont but once you start you keep watching for the good that seems to never come. On average family dramas can usually settle down near the end givingbyou a since of harmony or impending closure that gives you the fuzzy but we are literally 15 episodes out from 120 and they pull this. Talk about a let down but some people like extreme dramas. I was not ready for this ride. Hint my rants 🥴. Just sick of it.
Meanwhile, we putting up with psycho lady while we could be watching Lead couple bond ML Dad becoming a better person Baker lady growing up and getting courage Lead couple wedding ML get awesome job Discovery of JanDi bio dad The odd couple (sister in law) develop a relationship JanDi connecting with new grandpa Sooo many more things to see and this is what we got, an irrational psycho in a family drama who disappeared for 10 years and tried to pretend she only went to the corner store uh………….🙄
