The drama isn’t really drama-ing for me… Yes, the chemistry is great, and the visual effects are better than I expected, but the story…
He Simu is supposed to be a person without the five senses, but that idea keeps contradicting itself throughout the episodes. Especially her sense of touch—it’s all over the place, and it’s giving me the ick.
I keep thinking during every scene, “How can she do that? How did she know he touched her? She has no sense of touch.”
And her sense of hearing too… Can she only hear conversations? How is it that she can hear voices but not music? How does that make her devoid of the sense of hearing?
I know it’s a fantasy drama and logic shouldn’t be applied too strictly, but still… this kind of internal logic should make sense.
Also, I didn’t like the episode-ending edits where they manipulate the viewer’s perception, only to show the actual scene at the beginning of the next episode.
I'm not sure I understand the idea of Prince Duan being a real person of a higher level, as far as being in a…
Both the FL and ML, knows exactly what's going to happen. So they go by the script or is just trying to survive. They know the consequences before their actions. They have no desire for power/ throne.
While on the other hand , Prince Duan is oblivious of everything else. He is this evil man trying to overthrow his brother. He does not have a script to follow to . If something does not work, he has a conscience of his own to find a new solution . His main aim is power.
Also both FL and ML are born and brought in the real world. They didn't even know who were who or where things were. There is this scene where he cannot even differentiate between blue and green. They are also really sweet and kind human beings unlike their characters. So they have no power over the plot if they don't know the plot.
Hence in the end the FL says 'we are the 2D characters that's acting out the script while he is the real person. We are done'
I don't understand, XYE is the novel's protagonist, but what about XHD AND YWY? Aren't they from the real world?
It is like this... It's like a book inside a book inside a book. Initially there is a certain book A . Stuff happens. In that, Yu WanYi and Xiao hou bo are the protagonists. Into this book, a modern girl Ma Chunchun gets transmigrated into as Xie Yonger. She changes stuff accordingly. This whole is Book B. The protagonists in book b is Xie Yonger and Xiao hou bo. This book B is which Wang Cui Hua (our FL) gets to analyse for her job. She and a certain CEO(our ML) gets transmigrated into Book B and they change it accordingly. This whole is Book C. So Book C is the drama/art we see/read.
From what I have watched (I haven't read the book nor watched the animated version ) only the FL and ML transmigrated into the novel. The SFL being transmigrated is the plot of the book itself. Both SFL and that evil SML are characters of the book having their own conscience
I don't want to be eaten alive by everyone who actually like Rong Shanbao (character, I'm not talking about actress),…
I agree. I didnt care for the scheming. It was entertaining to the viewers but what i did not like is the ML kept in the dark. TELL HIM WHATS GOING ON GURL!! and HIM.. going back to her after all the manipulation ! I would have broken up ! She was a red flag!
Ming Yi chilling here 🤣🤣 while he chills as Lu Jiang Lai
The ML was only scheming in the beginning—and even that wasn’t really scheming per se. He was just waiting for the right moment, for evidence and the proper opportunity which the FL knew. Thats why she cried when the grandma made her promise in the ancestral temple. But the FL, thats a different story. She can scheme all she wants, just leave my boi alone. Tell him whats going on instead of keeping him in the dark
Hahaha...eurh...Gong Shang Jue also wants to know the location.
I hated her character in My Journey to You. Manipulation, scheming and lying at its peak. Even in the end, we don't even know whether she was telling the truth or lying to stay alive.
Ming Yi chilling here 🤣🤣 while he chills as Lu Jiang Lai
I did not like couples from Glory. Rong Shan Bao is very scheming and cunning. I am all for 'Women in Male dominated field ' but why you calculating towards Lu Jiang Lai... He is suppose to help you out. He is the ML. Tsk tsk tsk. She does not deserve him.

Also Grandmother almost immediately : Marry Mr Yan for the family.
Rong Shan Bao in her mind: Should not have stopped Yunshu from stabbing you.
*Flips my table*
*Screams into the abyss*
I have nothing else to say - This is not sad ending. This is bad ending.
