Sorry, I know this wasn't meant to offend anyone but as someone that is japanese, a better way to shorten japan is "jpn" since "jap" is a derogatory term that has been used in discrimination against ethnic Japanese people.
The one thing I HATE about Disney streamed shows is that they're Closed Captioned, which I find ***ULTRA DISTRACTING***…
As someone that is been hard of hearing, these captions are ABSOLUTELY necessary. I know they should maybe create a separate category for it, but something you may view as annoying is just trying to make the series more accessible for other viewers. So please, just keep that in mind next time you watch Disney+
I'm sorry but Mumu is an absolute scene stealer for me 😭😭 At this point, man needs a separate show detailing how he high-key got every couple together-
I just finished episode one and this line just made me cry so hard...
"I always thought I was the one who should make an effort to live in harmony with others. Because in this world, there are a lot more people who can hear than those who can't."
I've lived with severe hearing loss all my life and it just resonated with my struggles in interacting with others. I've never seen this struggle put into words in anything I've watched until now. Really loving the increasing diversity that we see towards disabilities in kdramas and in modern media in general.
Who is Lee Sang Man? In the preview, a copy of the DNA test that Jiwoo opened up said that a test was done between a "Lee Sang Man" and him and that Lee Sang Man is definitely his parent.
1. The ML actually helps raise the FL and they DO NOT meet for the first time after 10 years. The last time they…
Thanks for taking the time to read my analysis! I just noticed a bunch of writing errors (that I’m too lazy to correct at the moment) so I’m glad that you were still able to decipher my comment.
Although it seems to me that currently the ML has no feelings for the FL, I do see your view on how it is likely that the ML is confused by the sudden confession and change in relationship dynamic. Hopefully the show will be able to explain it to us later on!
Thank you for taking the time to point out your observations and opinions! :D
I'm tempted to watch this as someone who did like Summer's Desire, another melodrama of Sophie. Sometimes just…
I was really turned off after reading the synopsis but decided to give it a try after watching the trailer. The drama is actually pretty good imo (it’s not as crazy as the synopsis makes it out to be), but I agree when you say it is definitely not for everyone.
Every time Run Chen(the brother) appears, I'm losing interest to watch this drama. God, he is annoying.
Do you mean Luo Rui (FL donor's brother) because if you do, I agree so much with you! I feel like Luo Rui is real annoying and so impulsive... Tang Shi also seems pretty annoying too.
I feel like the synopsis is really misleading... The best way to judge whether this drama is for you is by either…
1. The ML actually helps raise the FL and they DO NOT meet for the first time after 10 years. The last time they met before the current timeline is 6 years and the ML helps the FL get adjusted in her international school before he leaves. 2. The FL meets her donor's brother (aka SML) from the very beginning. He even asks her out before the current timeline. 3. At the moment, it seems like the ML isn't "suppressing" his emotions. One of the reasons why he leaves the FL to go back to China is because the FL confessed to him and he rejected her because he didn’t have any feelings for him.
Also for clarification about the FL and ML initial relationship, ML promised his dead girlfriend that he would look out and take care of the FL so the ML and FL HAD (big emphasis on “had” since the ML left her before the current timeline) more of close family "I have your back" sort of relationship.
Other commenters, feel free to point out your differences in opinion with my analysis if you notice any.
I cried reading this... Mo Eun is such a green flag!! If only everyone in real life could have that mindset towards accommodations.
