I was right there with you on ep 5 trying to decide if I would keep going or not. I kept going, just because I was also working on a project - so splitting my attention. it's just not good. boring, no charisma, dramatic but you don't care.
guys am I missing some lore? What was with the cameos at the end? Will we have more of this series or are they…
I also was confused. I couldn't place the first guy, although he seemed really familiar (maybe from another Japanese drama). The second one is of course the lead from Vincenzo, although I don't know if that was the character being hinted at or if it's just a teaser for a second season? very confusing.
This drama is great if you love nostalgic dramas that are full of regret. there were light moments as well, but this was mainly a drama full of sorrowful scenes. it was well done. but I can't imagine watching it more than once. the place and mood are very different from your average drama.
It's a vibe. Listen to V's song Christmas to know if it's the vibe you want in your life right now. I loved the leads and and how the story was constructed. I don't know if I'll ever rewatch this though - it just is kind of a melancholy downer with some romantic tension mixed in to keep you watching.
Dang. I can't agree with you more. I'll only add that I was also looking forward to the men's wardrobes- especially Old Gao. But I thought they mostly dressed well.
I’m noticing a lot of people found Refresh Man kind of boring. But I love office plots haha, so I was always…
Aaron Yan is so dang good looking - it almost doesn't matter what else is Hairston. I love this drama 1000x more than the one where he was pretending to be a nerd - that went way off the rails
Is it any good? Never watched a Taiwanese drama before.
Idk.. because I haven't watched it. But... I really like T- drama. Bromance is my favorite, despite the kind of low production value. It's just the cutest and has a few pretty steamy scenes!
Wow. No. This was bad. I had to force myself to finish. It starts out cute enough but devolves into a soapy melodrama with no chemistry to keep your interest. I can't really agree that it ends with fan service. That would mean that as a fan, you are getting catered to. That's not what happened. Everything got quickly resolved for everyone - even people you don't care about, even the evil ones of the plot. The wrap up of the main characters is kind of cute - but you don't even get a good kiss to make it feel like your time wasn't a complete waste. Do yourself a favor - take this one out of your list.
Yikes! The only thing redeeming about this drama is the gorgeous Aaron Yan. Cute concept but gets derailed around episode 8. I was wondering how they were going to keep the story going thru 32 episodes - and the answer is that they couldn't. Goes from cute rom-com to the daytimiest, soapiest melodrama - I thought the actors must be getting paid by the tear drop. You get one steamy kissing scene in the middle... not worth the pain of watching the show.
I want to take a minute to talk about the best boss - secretary relationship now! Is it only me, or is there anyone…
Yes! She loves her boss and has the best vantage point to watch the drama between them. Omg.... when she starts waving that rose around to get his attention and the card happens to just be laying right there facing him! She's like fed-ex and ups all rolled into one! Queen shipper!
Jealous yhj is so funny! XD The way he threatened her sec for info was so hilarious! No dialogue but felt like…
Yes... that was so cute! I've watched every episode 3x I think! My favorite cute moment is when Hee-jae tries to coach the young attorney on their way to the school. "This is totally normal, right?" The kid's like... yes, but... actually this probably could wait. But Hee-jae says, "what if this or that... she really should be informed right away, RIGHT?" Let's try this again... this is normal, right?
Ha ha.. I can't stop laughing at that scene
