I recently watched a Japanese drama called Wakatte Ite mo: The Shapes of Love. I absolutely adored it, and it’s just 8 episodes long! ❤️ I hope you like it too. If not, please just forget I recommended it 😂

I’ve been watching the Chinese drama Blossom just one episode a day because it’s so good, 😆 I didn’t want to finish it too fast, but today I finally decided to binge-watch it! I highly recommend it it’s so good

Thank you for the recommendation💗, I'll give it a shot! Really? He does the same genre most of the time? It could be that he got bored, but I still wish he had given more to this drama. Specifically, it has so much potential to showcase more emotional depth.
I'd say she has a decent number of scenes. Her character is a friend of the female lead and is always by her side when needed. You see her in both flashbacks and the present timeline as well
Every scene between Wen Peng and Jiang Cheng Yi could have been so much better if the actor Johnny Huang had put in more effort and emotions. It felt like 99% of the weight was on Wen Peng (Wang Tian Chen) to carry the scene and save it. Wang Tian Chen really acted well and deserves a better project and a co-star who can match his energy and talent 😅
To be fair, I’ll try watching another work of Johnny Huang. Maybe it wasn’t his acting but rather what the director or screenwriter asked him to portray 🤔
Just finished it. Okay, it was a decent drama. The story is interesting and engaging, with each episode offering something new. However, this is my first time seeing the male lead actor, and honestly, he felt a bit lifeless like an NPC. Even the way he walks reminded me of one😅😆 I don’t know how else to describe it. He does look good and gives off a strong vibe 💪, but that’s about all he offered here.
The female lead, on the other hand, did a good job. 👏❤️
The highlight of this drama was Wang Tian Chen’s outstanding performance. He delivered his lines so well and displayed extraordinary talent😍😍😍. His character was topnotch 👌.
If you’re into thrillers and mysteries, you’re going to love this one. If you’ve seen many dramas in this genre, you might figure out who the villain is early on, but the way they unpack the story is so enjoyable.
Overall, it’s a drama to watch for fun, though not necessarily one I’d rewatch at least for me. That said, I’ll definitely keep an eye on Wang Tian Chen’s upcoming projects after this.
Omg 😲 Zeng Qingjie is the director of this drama, and it's incredible to know he's the same director behind drama BLOSSOM 👏😍😍 This is only his second full-length drama, so I know the cinematography is going to be absolutely stunning 🫠
Liu Xue Yi is one of my favorite actors an amazing talent! I'm so happy his work is getting recognized and winning awards. I can't wait for his next project ❤️
I saw it was recently available on Netflix, so I decided to watch it. However, for some reason, I didn’t have the energy to watch a young love story😆, especially since most of the movie takes place while they’re still in school. At the end, we get to see a glimpse of their adulthood. So, I just skipped to the ending, which was so sweet. The visuals were top-notch 🫠❤️. Maybe one day I’ll go back and watch the whole thing, but it was a lovely experience. The FL and ML are so beautiful, and they still look so young! I was surprised to find out they’re in their 30s.
YES!! Filmed beautifully. Loved the art direction, sound engineering and soundtrack. So kudos to all involved!
Amazing work from the entire staff! Executive Producer Fujii Michihito and his work are incredible. Big applause to everyone who contributed to this project 🤗
I’m really glad I watched this in real time because it helped me focus on each episode and fully appreciate the story they wanted to convey ❤️🩹
I always feel like I learn life lessons when I watch Japanese dramas. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the Japanese version to be this deep and beautiful, but it exceeded my expectations. I’m so happy that was exactly how I felt watching the last episode ❤️
😍 i like her too! I saw some clips, and I definitely plan to watch it once all the episodes are available.
Thanks again! I'll add it to my watchlist soon 😊
Congratulations Ryusei! We're so proud of you!
