The reason I'm starting this is because I'm in a modern drama mood 😄🤭. Plus, my iQIYI subscription is ending in a month, so I'm literally binge watching dramas there right now!
Also, a lot of edits keep popping up on my YouTube, and they look so cute and fun to watch 😍😊

He’s so young!!! That was such a surprise lol. So far, the C-actors who give off a mature vibe are Wang Zi Hao, Wang Xing Yue, and Chen Xin Hai and they’re all super talented😊

Such a lovely drama! ❤️ Bi Wen Jun is so handsome his vibe really reminds me of Hao Ming Hou, especially in modern dramas.

I had serious Second Male Lead syndrome watching Bi Wen Jun in Kill Me, Love Me, so I’m super happy to see him as the male lead ! 😄

I like how they wrote the FL's character development 🤌❤️. Also, the way she acts so cute and uses a cute voice for her first character, then switches to a mature voice as the story progresses ❤️. Usually, they keep using a cute voice the whole time, but I like this approach more.
This drama was fun not bad, but it’s definitely not making it into my top 10 Xianxia dramas. However, I’d still recommend it! It’s fun, and the actors did a great job.

I've watched Lin Yi in Put Your Head on My Shoulder, Derailment, and Everyone Loves Me, and now this is my fourth drama with him.

As for Chen Zheyuan, I've only seen him in Hidden Love, but for some reason, I thought they were the same person! He's a great actor too. 😉

Lin Yi looks really good in this drama I love his hair! And he looks more manly compared to his previous dramas. 😍

I've watched 15 episodes so far, and this drama is so lighthearted and enjoyable.

I don’t mind shorter episodes, to be honest, but I wish they knew how many episodes were allowed to air. It’s kind of unfair to us and the actors who worked hard, only for their work to be cut down😅😭
. But I also get that shorter episodes can be fun. 🤭

Interesting takeaway! 🤔 I totally agree about the bad screenwriting many dramas have an interesting opening but end up with a flat ending 😅 As for Youku claiming a loss of popularity, that definitely sounds like an excuse from the platform.😬

Plus, C-dramas can be broadcast in one to a maximum of three weeks, so having more episodes isn’t really an issue. We’re not looking for a release schedule like K-dramas, which air only two episodes a week, or J-dramas, which release just one episode weekly.

Not to mention, C-drama episodes are generally shorter than other Asian dramas, usually between 45 minutes or less. Meanwhile, K-drama episodes tend to be around an hour long, sometimes even longer. So even with more episodes, the total runtime isn’t that much different lol 😆

I’m really interested to see the future of C-dramas. Hopefully, they start investing in better screenwriting and stronger scripts!
