Mysterious Lotus Casebook and this one are world's apart. Mysterious Lotus Casebook did a lot of things that were done way better. I am not hating on this drama ofcourse. This drama is really entertaining and good to watch to kill time but there's a lot of negative aspects too. I would complain about a lot of things but I won't here cause people will tear me apart lol. But yeah they did A Shui's character dirty. I don't even dislike females characters and often enjoy romance but atleast write the character well. Female characters are so hard to write well. They are either too weak like oh I am damsel in distress or they are oh I am so powerful I don't need anyone and there's the third catagory where the charcter serves no purpose and is just bland. Plus there's no chemistry. The cp they are trying so hard to push is just flat

EXACTLY PREACH!! I agree so hard omgg. I said that I didn't like A Shui and everyone jumped at me lolol I am honestly so flabbergasted that I can't even voice my own opinion. I don't need for others to tell me what I like or dislike I simply dislike character because it's too bland. It's like eating food without salt yk. You can still eat but it's just bland. That's the best way I can describe her character. And also at that certain episode (I forgot the number) she absolutely didn't need to jump into the lake along with TLC she just increased the burden. Peak damsel in distress energy and I hate that the most. Okay there goes my rant sorry lol.
