Rewatching it also helped me to get the deeper meaning behind their choices, the parallels with the ‘ dream’ both their necklaces etc. her praying in the end. The drama works a lot with hidden meanings which is not something every user enjoys. I think most users just want to relax and not think much. Maybe disney gives us S2 and they bring more closure to the story. .. the directors themselves said they had way more material than showed , so for only 9 episodes I think they still did pretty well. 🌚

That’s solely disneys fault because the limited it down to 9 episode. The story was huge and you could even see there were heaps of scenes cut out to make it all fit. Still the drama was amazing but not as amazing as it could’ve been.
Question I dont quite get what you were hoping for. That she’s with him and not running for president ? Or what do you mean by “ what if woman chose herself for once”

For example, who was the person in the video pretending to be Jang Junik? It was Jang Junik — that’s what you didn’t catch. But he did it only to find out for himself what was really going on. The others made him a spy, like so many others.
How did Munju lose her child? I understand that’s an interesting question, but the series intentionally leaves a few things open, and the focus shouldn’t be too much on that topic. Still, one key moment is when she tells Sanho on the train that she has no one left since her baby died — it’s the first time it becomes clear that she never really loved Junik.
As for who exactly hired Valkyrie to protect Munju — You really do need to watch the show again!
You actually missed some of the most important points. Stella Young — her mother-in-law — was the one who hired Valkyrie, but not to protect her (which Valkyrie didn’t know). It was to keep tabs on her, to always know what was going on, etc.
It was also mentioned early on that Sanho was supposed to monitor her and pass on information about her. But he quits after the day the car explodes, because he’s furious and realizes that someone within or behind Valkyrie was involved — no one else could have known which route they were taking.
About the open ending. yes, I hate that too, but it doesn’t diminish the artistry, the cast’s performances, or the cinematic brilliance of the work. :)
Then he should swing his a** back to her and watch her like he promised :(
Do you think a Season 2 is even realistic?
Money’s not really an issue for Disney , they’re loaded. I think the problem’s more about two other things. The show’s popularity isn’t as huge as it could’ve been if they’d released it on a mainstream platform like Netflix. A lot of people don’t have Disney+, and on top of that, Disney keeps messing with geo-restrictions, so it’s not even available everywhere. And honestly, many K-drama fans prefer lighter shows you can just chill with. Tempest is one of those you kinda have to watch twice to catch everything. So yeah, we can only hope the numbers are still strong enough for them to start talks with the writers and actors (who are super busy too).
The other thing is — what would Season 2 even be about? If it’s just about him coming back to her, then the whole genre shifts and it basically becomes a romance. ( Tell me pls if there are other unresolved things I am missing)
Of course everyone wants that, but it doesn’t really fit the usual K-drama style :( In the past, sequels only happened when there was a clear way to continue everything. I really hope I’m wrong though.

Honestly the writing is bad and much more. In age of social media the most hyped doesn’t mean it’s the best. Sadly some really good dramas getting not the attention they deserve because the biggest audience are some undeveloped teenage girls.
If you rewatch it and give it some time to sink it’s actually quite beautiful and fits the show. First I wasn’t happy but the second time I watched it it made sense.
It’s just goes deeper than most k dramas and even you don’t see them together in the end it gives you that painfully precious love message.
The best ones you always find on Disney because they’re the richest fuck** and can bring great actors and story
