Although I swore I wouldn't write a long post when filming wrapped, because I was always afraid my words wouldn't do justice to my feelings, what was I thinking at that joyful moment of wrapping up filming? Yes, personally I don't think it's that heavy. PM goes for an overload of events rather than extracting the maximum human experience from just a small handful of events. So, you never linger / dwell on difficult things for too long.
It has more in common with mystery dramas where they solve lots of cases than a life drama with truly deep themes. Instead of solving cases (although they do actually do that a bit in the PM), the family overcomes life challenges.
