And why did Granny go along with tricking TSJ? Yes she wanted him to marry what’s her face but in normal drama just catching them in the same bed would be enough. instead granny drugs him and waits 2 months ?

I’m rewatching S1 ep 29. FFB wants TJ to deliver goods to Qingshui Town. He implies that what he can offer is XY and TJ says he will never let someone use her for a deal. (Cue FFB silent rage). While there are several layers to this (was FFB going to reveal his sisters affair?) it made me think that TJ knows FFB is XL. Also this ep has so many beautiful TJ/XY scenes.

I’m here for that. I do love XL and his growth is nothing short of extraordinary. He started out so toxic and still has anger issues. But he is committed to his cause and can’t give it up for her.

TJC really nails his role and I hope he gets more roles from it.

I totally agree. Where people call the character weak, I find that because DW really conveys that he is the most selfless man in her life. Despite the obstacles he never wavers.
