I’m only on 22 and so far it sure plays like r*p*. Even if she “agreed”, at the very least she feared for her life, which does not equal consent. Her reaction to recognizing him was pure disgust.

ugh and the character gets a tub scene meant to be sexy. 🤢

Agree but also beating maids to death for no reason is also disgusting. And lest we forget how the child was conceived. 🤢

Gorgeous yes but the character is gross and beyond redemption. I'm so disgusted by the monster he is, that I have no swoon in me.

I have seen that Deng Kai is getting some recognition for this show but I really hope people are not romanticizing his role. He is absolutely deserving for his acting and plays a great villain here. But there is no redemption for the character of Qi Min / Sui Yuan Huai. None.
