Yan Zi Xian in a comedy role? I am so here for it!!

Honest question, why is Zhang Shi An a Main Role with so little screen time? I like the actor, and hope to see him again with a bigger role.

I am watching Sword and Beloved and the only thing keeping me there is Chang Hua Shen.

I am on ep 28 and while I admit I am not a fan of Cheng Yi, I can enjoy his acting if the story is compelling. Honestly, with some minor tweaks I dont see that much change from one role to another from him. This drama does have something keeping me coming back and for the most part that is Chang Hua Sen who I didnt even recognize at first! I am also watching Blood River so it's quite a contrast and range from this up and coming actor. This drama also has me FF any scene with Wang Hong Yi, mostly due to the character. I think. Anyway, after spoiling some of the ending, I am not in a hurry to finish just yet.

I thoroughly enjoy this mini so far. YZX is in his element and HXL is more than able to match his energy. Add in 2 cute kids helping the adults get together.

Kudos to the actors to keep a straight face in this over the top nonsense. The only reason to watch is our steamy lead couple because everything else is just a mess. Don’t expect any rational plot or characters and you’ll be fine. 🤣

Wait, so they criticize the soldier for not reaching Heaven and Earth Strike but once he does, they gonna make him a cripple so he can’t wield a sword? whhhhaaat? whyyyy? (I know why, but jeeze this kid can’t win).

Ah yes, great points, I forgot so much. But, her dying wish was “One last thing, promise me, if the day comes, when Fugui wants to leave, let him go.” Hongye does honor this after a thousand swords at least.

I’m glad for the flash backs to the last show (Love in Pavillion) b/c I’m pretty confident Fu Gui’s mother would be horrified. The love child she died giving birth to is just meant to be an emotionless demon killer? The character we rooted for is now the worst father ever.

Well, that was short and spicy 🔥🔥🔥. A great filler while I wait for other shows to drop.

Once she becomes linked to him, her hair changes. it’s not mentioned specifically tho.

A very solid 9.5 for me. If we got more skin than one shoulder of HMH it may have been a 10.

ngl, I had to skip the SA scenes but otherwise, it’s not the worst mini. FL makes questionable choices, very nearly experiencing SA by the same pos without any plan. Plenty of usual tropes including princess who intends to steal the general b/c he saved her, blah blah. That said, FL is pretty smart and the teasing with ML is satisfying. I was going to drop it but it got better as it went.

Super cute, light, and fluffy. I even love how the 2nd love interests initially teamed up to break up the main couple only to help them get together. The baddies are cartoonish but it’s all in good fun.

I enjoyed this immensely. I don’t usually care much for cray cray royals but the princess and the emperor were just so perfect for each other. Leads were good together and plot worked for me. Solid 9.

Very decent short but lacked any 🌶️.

I finally finished after waiting for all eps to be VIP and this did not disappoint. special kudos to the stylist for Deng Kai - he should always look this good in costume drama. Not sure what happened in the last scene where his short neck hair was visible even in the wide angle shot- maybe the stylist was sick that day. I really like FL and thought the leads were great together.
