I also want to add that I am glad they did not try to make ML’s skin look whiter with make up. The actor has really beautiful color of skin and looks more natural than most.

Another well done mini show. Mostly good performances aside from ML’s mother & her maid. The mustache & beard on General Hu was a bad choice but I guess the actor looked too young otherwise? There were a few eye roll moments but in all it was a enjoyable. ML & FL look good together and share some nice kisses. Costumes were decent but I didn’t care for FL’s hanging fruit head wear. I could not find it on app with this title so watched on YouTube.

I loved this mini show. the plot got a little convoluted and the flash backs sometimes confusing. However, the story was a different twist on revenge plot and the leads are beautiful. Kisses are passionate and some skinship. the YouTube version I watched was not bad (only the opening music was garbled) and the subs were adequate.

This is one insane, wild ride. it was one of my first cdramas and I was engrossed. The finale climax scene is one Shakespeare would be proud of and my jaw was on the ground. Did not see that coming. WOW. The acting is top notch and that’s what really brings it together.

I admit I read spoilers before starting this. I am mostly here for BWS but PBG has that amazing smile, so why not? Well, I think as young people, coming into adulthood and relating to one’s parents the show does ok. As a romance I was not sold and it was mainly PSD with a lack of expression that didn’t work for me. PBG has the range to carry the emotional scenes but the writing is just too lazy to use him adequately. The last few eps are just kind of a last ditch tie up without much emotional growth. Unless 2 years military service is the answer to everyone’s problems. Idk.

seriously. So much time is spent on containing her, yet there is always someone new working for her to bring her back. Ugh. enough.

this had potential and I really like ML. FL is so childish but has room to grow. I just couldn’t understand the divorce after they clearly have feelings. keeping the daughter away from ML was just completely unnecessary.

I don’t know why there isn’t more buzz about this drama. I am really enjoying it so far.

I do want to say that the ML’s wig is one of the most beautiful and flattering to the actor.

can someone please explain what the heck is going on with the Ming family? 2nd prince wants them to kill FX but instead a family mass suicide? cousin gets adopted as a son and they want FX to kill him. what is their deal?

I am a little confused in the final timeline, is Sunjae only an actor and not the singer of Eclipse?

Someone mentioned to me that the real, big bad in JOL is the Emperor. And I get that everyone is always scrambling to figure out the mind games and what he wants them to do. For example, his round about way of balancing power (how the spring exam leads to the exile of the prime minister etc). So, if he turns against FX, what is the motive? FX is his son after all. Even with his backing, he doesn't want to compete with the princes.
