I am on ep 16 and enjoying almost everything so far. Suoluo needs to get the chip of her shoulder real quick. I like how relationships are developing over time. I do suspend disbelief that YN expects to find a boy she met ONCE with almost no information, in a capital city.

it’s not perfect but I was drawn into the story and characters. Very good casting and performances. The open ending kinda sucked but I choose to believe it ended well for CP.

Loved this mini. A very tight story without very much side distractions. Great couple that are able to trust each other.

Ep 17 and this is so dumb. No one knows how to have a conversation.

I’m not a fan of unrequited side characters not respecting a married couple. Pathetic QH showing up and bullying the queen in her own home? gtfo. I skip any scene with that sad face in it. 2nd General embracing the queen. Like dude, you maybe should have confessed BEFORE she went away to be some one else’s bride. gtfo.

while I am delighted we got 1 scene of XH with his hair down, I feel we really needed more of that. He did sword practice with a pony tail )& also shirtless 😳 )so I really should not complain. 🤣

she learned nothing from her mistreatment, except to treat others horribly. No sympathy from me.

while she was treated horribly, it does not excuse her actions imo.

I normally wait until all are available, but at least we get a minimum of 1 ep a day, and I have not regretted starting it.

I skipped ahead just to see how it ended.

A hot mess. too many flash backs, too much time spent to make evil people sympathetic, overly dramatic score just not matching the drama, and that’s just a few of my issues with this drama. Complaints on FL losing her strength just not warranted, she went though a lot of sh*t so I can understand her emotional reactions. ML did a good job and carried the drama well. Not much chemistry in the leads for me.

I also want to add that I am glad they did not try to make ML’s skin look whiter with make up. The actor has really beautiful color of skin and looks more natural than most.

Another well done mini show. Mostly good performances aside from ML’s mother & her maid. The mustache & beard on General Hu was a bad choice but I guess the actor looked too young otherwise? There were a few eye roll moments but in all it was a enjoyable. ML & FL look good together and share some nice kisses. Costumes were decent but I didn’t care for FL’s hanging fruit head wear. I could not find it on app with this title so watched on YouTube.
