then how can the same soul exist in both their bodies when they're both alive??your theory makes no sense.
apparently in the novel when HW goes back in time and in the body of Do Joon, HW stops existing in that new timeline, he just isn't there. but the drama's writer changed that by having them both in the timeline and created all of these problems.

ayyo, being reborn itself is without logic. Kdrama is best watched while keeping brain in fridge.
Yep! it's pure vanity, you explained it well.
The writer instead of respecting the original writer and being proud of working on their novel's adaptation chose to do her own thing and subvert expectations just for the sake of her ego and the downfall of the story.

Exactly. They should have done just like the novel did and erase HW from the second timeline. Thus, no going back…
wish it was in English

The problem is that they didn't explain what exactly happened like when ML was in the present time in the beginning…
It makes no sense because the writer butchered the ending and ruined the whole drama by giving birth to such a huge plot-hole.

From what I understand from this ending is that Jin Do Joon and Yoon Hyun Woo have the same soul and each one…
then how can the same soul exist in both their bodies when they're both alive??
your theory makes no sense.

give it a 1 so the overall rating can come down, this doesn't deserve 8.8
I did too, but some sacrifices are needed to prevent the future audience from falling into the same trap that we did.

the novel ending as someone else explained to me is this:

"Grandpa gets a successful surgery and dies couple years later of old age. Dojoon gets the Conglomerate stocks. Grandpa tells him on the deathbed that it’s grandma behind car crash. He later finds out she had a whole gallery overseas that she used for money laundering. (I think she was painting them herself so most of art was fake I don’t remember correctly) He buys that gallery and when she travels overseas accuses her for the slush funds and she never returns. Marries that prosecutor girl (but there was no romance😂 she literally appears like 3-4 times lol). Basically he get the company and makes it bigger still having his miracle investment. He visits the place he was murdered and sort of accepts fully that this is his new life and it ends like that"

Yep, Korean transmigration and reincarnation novels are some of the best stories I've read in my life, just wish the writers adapting them don't turn those amazing stories into pure garbage.

just to subvert expectations like the moronic writers of GOT did.
exactly, why would a feel-good drama have an ending that would make the fans blood boil in anger?

more like how much of an idiot she was, because "genius" is not the world I'd use to describe her shit writing.
