if they wanted to move past the comedy and the goofiness and be taken seriously then they needed to put some elbow grease into the cases and the major plot points.
what we ended up getting was a subpar story with none of the comedy from the previous season.

have you seen Lovely Runner or Twinkling Watermelon? those two are perfect time-travel dramas.

this was so bad🤮 many of the cases were predictable, especially the twins, then they had to do the whole "ML getting framed for murder" trope, it just proved that they had very little material, even the serial killer case began abruptly with not much of a setup, it became really skippable after episode 10.

overall it's a 6/10

had the exact same issues with the drama, especially the grandpa character, he was killing himself to get ML to marry or at least get with someone, but the moment ML found someone for himself, Grandpa suddenly developed standards and didn't want FL for "plot" reasons.


I had the same issue with the grandpa in "Business Proposal" he was the height of hypocrisy.

nah, it's boring until episode 18 that I dropped it today, the main couple for the most part are decent but ML background is way too long and I didn't really care about any of it, the side characters are boring, the competition is also boring and feels like a promotion for china.

very unfunny movie that tries to promote cheating and infidelity, then tries to treat it as if it's normal.

that's the feeling most people got from the drama, the first half was a lot superior.

how much is the comedy? does the drama take itself too seriously? ir is it more light?

This is a very skip-freindly drama, as long as you fast-forward through ML flashback parts and the game/competition parts and just focus on the Rom/Com part, its a 10/10

this started out great, but I just can't take it anymore, none of the side characters are believable or well-written, FL is so wishy-washy, her entire life was getting destroyed by the writer that accused her of plagorism, and when she finally had the upper hand, she chose to forgive and forget, like WTH even is that? doing this not only damaged her character in my mind but it also allows for such a thing to happen easily to others in the future too, she could have set a precedent to protect original works like her novel better.

there's nothing wrong with trying to teach a lesson, but if you want to abandon your fantasy plot(ghosts), then you need to have superb writing to keep the audience fom getting bored, you can't just have mediocare writing for your ghost plot and then abandon even that and do a generic chaebol plot.

look at Lovely Runner or Twinkling Watermelon, the charactetrs arent time-traveling( fanasy plot)every second of every episode, for the most part they're a simple rom-com, yet the writing elevates them,Spooky in love needed that kind of writing.

this could have been one of the greats, instead all it was tuned out to be yet another generic chaebol drama, and not a good one at that.

it's supposed to be Happy, but getting there is a chore and not very satisfying.

why does the Ghost drama suddenly forgets that it's a Ghost drama?🤷‍♂️
