it matters, proper BL has a proper pay-off that a pretend BL deesn't have, it's just endless teasing and then you get an unstasisfying: "they were only friends" in the end.
this is predatory behavior by the writer and director, they want to have both groups of the audience, so they lie and tease and leave both groups unsatisfied, in the end the only winners would be their bank accounts.

yep! every issue and problem that Seo-Ri faced was beacuase of his inability to control his own family problems, and then he had the nerve to blame Seo-Ri, it really pissed me off, I kept yelling at my TV: "go and deal with your annoying cousin and granpa instead of just posing and thinking you're superior than all of them "
I've seen it so may times in western and eastern dramas that I feel like I've developed a bias, everytime I hear anyone thinking about adpting or has adopted my mid immediately goes: "Damn, they better be careful of it's gonna trun against the parents or the bio kids at some point"

I really wanted to like it but it's way too nonsensical, the King goes through all this trouble to find someone that can fix hist ghost problems, but wait! his daughter that he has hidden pretty close by has abilities too and can basically do what ML can, by epsiode 3 she can even enter demon world and has to save ML, why did the king even bring him here?
besides that there is the issue of why ML and FL even bothered to save the Queen dowager?? that made no sense to me🤷♂️
then there is the fact that the story is unfinished and there is noway in hell they're getting a Season2, so this will forever remain an unfinished drama, with a confsuing plot.

this started out great but it's getting too angsty, I'm on episode 17 and don't have the motivation to continue, another issue I have is the coach blaming himself for Jason's death, while I'm of the opinion that he didn't do anything wrong🤷♂️

oh yeah, it definately was too bland, the color plate was all wrong too, there was no difference in a scene that was suppposed to be funny in comprison to a sad or romantic one.
then there is relatebility of the characters, FL was ghosted for 8 months and was still crying over her Ex, I could never relate to that, then there is that fact that she obviously isn't over the dude and you want me to believe that she's gonna jump into a super serious relationship with her boss that soon?😑

look at recent video games, movies and shows that were created by western studios, a lot fo them have been made in a bubble of toxic positivity without any allowance for criticism, and instead of listening to what their audience wanted, they listened to what the activists wanted, and look at them now, most of them failed at the box office, got cancelled or just didn't make any money and bankrupted the studio.

I think there is something wrong with the direction and pacing too, like it took me 2 days to get to episode 4 and at that point I just had to give up, in contrast I'm watching "road to success", and in the span of a single afternoon I've reached the 4th episode and I'm desperately looking forward to watching a bunch more tonight.
Anyone that recommendeds this drama as a romance is a liar, someone recommended this to me on Reddit as a very good romnace drama, but that's a lie, this is the farthest thing to a romance.

I desperately hope we get a drama that just tries to be a fantasy rom-com without the need for moronic tropes or regular mundane issues.
