A Regal Extravaganza Par Excellence!
I was bought up on a stable diet of Disney Princesses who conquered the world; so a misplaced Prince wasn’t on my list. But then why not?For those who grew up watching Snow White, Cinderella or Aurora, the fictional part isn’t interesting; it is the struggles they go through. Of course, they have a knight in shining armor or a handsome Prince to protect them. But what happens when you are the Prince in distress instead of the damsel? Domundi TV’s “The Next Prince” quickly answers this question with a self awareness that is unhinged and particularly regal. Set in the fictional nation of Emmaly, the storyline goes through the same grind, albeit the queer way. For many who have anticipated the release of this royal romance, the wait might be worth it. Starring Zee Pruk and NuNew Chawarin who plays the titular role, “The Next Prince” is fraught with political intrigue, mystery and lots of drama. In the midst of this chaos, we have an inevitable romance blooming between the next heir to the throne and his very persistently aloof Royal Guard. Nunew has come a long way as he delivers a noteworthy performance as Khanin. He is captivating, engaging and yet somber. We have a medley of supporting characters that are as riveting as the main couple, so there is never a dull moment. Before diving into the Emmalyian waters, be warned; the men are handsome and too hot to handle!

An Engaging Storytelling with Stellar Casting
Sight, scent, taste, touch, and sound—five senses that imprint themselves in our memories and hearts. And while all of them have an impact, sound is a stark reminder of how swiftly something can fade while leaving an indelible mark.Nowhere is this more evident than in music. Music speaks to the soul when words falter, conveying emotions that defy easy expression. Its melodic language channels joy, love, anger, fear, and pain, forging connections that transcend barriers.

One of the Best Sensual Romances in Recent Times!!
Someone commented on our Twitter/X post that “We have another Sorn & Jun on our hands” and I laughed out loud because it is so true!!This show starts with a punch, the pilot episode begins with the main leads kissing each other passionately (*ahem* in a restroom). You are left with questions like “What? How? Why? Who are these two? Where is the character introduction?”. And thus begins this story. Starring Chance & Wang Jyun Hao in lead roles, the story focuses on childhood friends, Han Tuo & Lu Jun Xi. They are actually a trio with Lin Xiao Yang (Lin Yen Tzu). They became friends when ten years ago, Han Tuo moved to their neighborhood. Shy and reserved, Han Tuo didn’t speak much because his mother had abandoned him. That was until Jun Xi gatecrashed into his life, and they became close friends. In the current scenario, Han Tuo grows to become the college heartthrob, moving through relationships at a fastening speed while poor Jun Xi finds it difficult to even confess his feelings to his childhood crush, Xiao Yang (or, so he assumes).

A Knockout Series Indeed!!
Life is often a lot like being inside a boxing ring, waiting to see if you can withstand the fight ahead or end up knocked out while trying to live.In the Thai BL series Knockout, adapted from the novel of the same name by Dawin, that analogy isn’t just a metaphor, it’s the foundation. Starring Nice Boripat Jamsat as Keen and Gun Natsakan Chairote as Thun, the story begins with Keen’s life unraveling in real-time. In the middle of a job interview, he receives word of his father’s sudden death, a loss that not only strips him of family but also drags him into a financial nightmare. Saddled with unexpected debt from an informal loan his father left behind, Keen finds himself cornered by debt collectors with nowhere to hide. His refuge? Petchsak camp, a Muay Thai gym, where he crosses paths with Thun, a boxer known as “The Cannon Who Conquers Tigers.”

How Will This Show End Ultimately- Good or Bad??
Have you ever watched a show and thought “This is bad in all good ways, and yet I don’t know where it is headed to?”Mind boggling yet pretty cliche, M Flow Entertainment’s latest offering “My Stubborn” enters the BL arena with the bull-headed attitude of trashing prior precedents. For shock factor, they start the pilot episode with an over-the-top jerking session. It’s hot, spicy and regrettably sets the tone for most of the show. The show has the distinction of fielding not one but three different couples (2 BL+1 GL). If nothing goes wrong (as is the case with most M Flow productions), then this show might be a surreal experience. The ensemble casting helps as we get a variety of characters, their backstory and budding romance to watch. But there is also this grating sense that something might go wrong. From the first episode, it is obvious that the main leads are going to be projected as an overtly horny couple, it is exciting but too much spice can be offputting. Can the main couple keep up appearances while maintaining their sex appeal? That remains to be seen!

An Uncharacteristic Time Slip Romance
I love me a good go-back-in-time-to fix-your-mistake BL!!Amongst my chaotic week between “Pit Babe Season 2” and “The Next Prince” came another BL into my life. Honestly I had seen the pilot and kept it in my ‘binge watch when the entire show is finished’ list but seeing all the clips of it all over the internet thought maybe starting it now wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
So, welcome to the First Impressions of ‘Reset- The Series’.
Story
Armin Thiwanon, played by Pond Ponlawit, is a famous actor. On the night of an important award ceremony he comes home after winning a prestigious award, only to find out his boyfriend is cheating on him. That too with a fellow actor he trusted. In a fit of anger he starts fighting with them and ‘accidentally’ gets pushed down from the above. He falls (in a very dramatic way with the chandelier breaking and everything). As he lies taking his last breath in his own pool of blood surrounded by paparazzi, his jealous colleagues (the only people who seem to be affected by this is his manager) he contemplates his life, his choices and his pathetic way of dying. He opens his eyes in the set of a movie in 1999, crashes out, steals a car and crashes it in a billboard (valid). As he stands confused in the middle of the road he is rescued by the second male lead Thada, played by Peterpan Tadsapon (in a very K-drama style). He realises he may have been given a chance to reset his life and faints in Thadas’ arms (again in K-drama style). Roll the intro!

Fast Paced Thriller With Interesting Characters!
Continuation of the hit supernatural Thai-BL and adapted from the novel of the same name, “Pit Babe The Series Season Two” is a series full of race cars, mysterious happenings, and supernaturally powerful beings. From the first episode, we start seeing competitions, new decisions, arrival of new characters and the return of some old ones grambling with mysterious incidents. Babe (Pavel Naret), the undefeated king of the racing track loses his crown when new rookie racer, Willy (Milk Natchanon) beats him in a race. The first episode starts with Pavel, who is playing the title character, Babe having a nightmare followed by Charlie (Pooh Krittin), calming him down. Kim (Benz Atthanin), another racer in X- Hunter company resigns to move forward with his career, to be honest I am very invested in his story and wish to see where his story arc and character goes. Another new twist in the story is that Way/Chris (Nut Supanut) is back (but is he? Or is it someone else?). I wish that Pete (Ping Orbnithi) could find his closure or get his happy ending in this season. Despite taking the power sealing power, Jeff is still getting his visions, and predicting future predicaments related to his colleagues in X-Hunter. The second episode follows up with the confusion that occurs when Chris joins Pete’s company as their new researcher. He looks exactly like Way, who is presumably dead. Tony who was declared dead also returns to play the antagonist. He promptly kidnaps Kenta (Garfield Pantach) and Winner (Pop Pataraphol) to assist him in his attempts to destroy X-Hunter again. In the midst of this chaos, Willy tries to flirt with Babe. I am a little skeptical about Willy’s character as I have zero idea of what he is planning to do.

Compared to the Drama, Lacks Distinct Flavors!
The movie version of Park Sang Young’s novel adaptation projects a strong message that subjugates most societal norms and outdated beliefs. There is a clear demarcation between the movie and drama version; so you might be slightly disappointed with the conjecture. For those who are unhappy because the movie gleams too much on the friendship aspect rather than tackling the issues concerning the queer community; we have an important reminder. The movie is based on the first few chapters of the novel where the main protagonist lives with his sassy best friend. The drama version follows up on the later chapters where he tackles personal issues and inevitably meets the “love of his life”. Some scenes in the movie seem to clash with the content in the drama series, but that’s bound to happen when there are directorial differences.Read the complete article here-

A Sweet Romance Between Two Long Lost Friends!
The world often feels much smaller than it is, especially when it brings people together in the most surprising ways.In the Japanese BL Stay By My Side After the Rain, fate intervenes with the softest touch, reuniting two childhood friends in a quiet, nostalgic café on a rainy day in Tokyo. What starts as a simple catch-up over coffee becomes something far more tender when memories resurface and long-buried feelings slip out into the open.
Adapted from the web manga Ameagari no Bokura ni Tsuite by Rakuta Shoko, the series stars Ikeda Masashi as Kanade Shinichiro, a quiet office worker who’s tucked his sexuality, and his past, away in a box he’s no longer willing to open. That is, until he runs into Mashiro Kosuke (Hori Natsuki), the best friend he’s been trying not to remember.

A Historical Period Drama That Leaves You Exhilarated!
Romance isn’t something that can be planned. It isn’t something that can be decided by rank, title, or the weight of someone else’s opinion. Love doesn’t care about decorum or boundaries, it simply begins. And in Memoir of Rati, it begins quietly. With glances exchanged at a festival and curiosity sparked between two men who, by society’s rules, have no business falling for one another.
Set in 1915 Siam, this historical Thai BL opens with soft tension and beautiful restraint. Adapted from the web novel by P. Picha, it introduces us to Rati (Inn Sarin), an orphan brought back to Siam as a French interpreter, and Thee (Great Sapol), a marquis in the Ministry of Education. Their meeting is simple, almost forgettable, but under the stillness, there’s something unmistakable happening between them.
Rati is a man between worlds. Born in Siam but raised in France, he walks the line between two homes, two loyalties, and two versions of himself. His return to Siam isn’t met with open arms, especially not from the biological mother he longs for, a kitchen maid with ties to him she chooses not to acknowledge. It’s a quiet heartbreak that threads through Rati’s early days back in Siam, and we feel it as he tries not to unravel.
