Such a bizarre (and lazy) choice to use what was so obviously a different actor as heavy Cream in both photos of her alone and with Cake when AI and photo altering apps specializing in digital manipulation of any and everything exist in droves.
The drama is super cute though so I’ll forgive it.
I like this version far more than any of the others but I’m not feeling the two leads at times and I cannot put my finger on why that is. I’ve seen Bright in two other projects (Congrats My Ex!, 2gether series) and liked him just fine in those but something feels off here. Could be a lack of chemistry with the FL or maybe it’s the permed hair throwing me off. As for the FL… she’s a little wooden.
With that said, I only have a few more episodes left to watch and already know I’ll miss seeing all these messy characters once it ends. Wish there had been a second season to look forward to and a little surprised there isn’t given the popularity of the series. Definitely would’ve liked to see more story for Kavin + Kaning and the other two F4 guys.
So bummed over the lack of English subtitles as this series has been a high priority watch for me ever since it got announced. I was counting down the days and everything ðŸ˜
Overall I loved it more than the things I dislike about it, but agree w/ other comments re: # of episodes - it really NEEDED 12! The rush to wrap everything up became much too apparent leading into the 10th.
Have any of you seen Noeul's S2 rap videos? They are so good, and his character in those videos is the polar opposite…
Yes! A role reversal of sorts would be fun to watch. I read a translation of what I think was a fairly recent interview they did it was said that they’d like a mafia themed series, with Noeul suggesting he’d play the bratty son of some rich man to Boss’s mafioso.
I adored the first half of the story with Rain + Payu but the charm faded for me in the second half with Sky + Prapai. I liked them more as side characters than a couple but I think much of that feeling stems from the manner in which their story was presented. I would’ve been far more invested in their characters’ developing romance had their story been reserved for a second season spinoff rather than the way it was structured. The seriousness of Sky’s backstory alone was worthy of its own pacing and development time but instead felt rushed. I get why and what they were going for in opting to fit two stories into a single season but the squeeze was definitely at the expense of the storytelling in both halves.

I can’t find it ðŸ˜
