Gave this series another chance recently… still find myself fast-forwarding quite a bit - though it’s mostly down to just one couple now 🫠 - but overall, not as terrible as I remember.

Who is doing that? Did you even read anything I said? Have you heard literally anything he himself has said in recent months? If anyone here is trying to dictate how he’s conducting his career it’s you who seemingly does not want to accept the reality of the new path he himself has chosen for himself, which is music. He, much like everyone else at this point, wants to move on. He is 100% focused on music with no acting gigs in the pipeline, as stated by him. He chose this direction for his career. Support him!

More like injustice befell the entire cast & its crew, producers, studios, fans, etc. - who collectively believed there would be more seasons of Top Form as planned - when Smart decided he'd much rather chase his longtime t-pop idol dreams than continue on with the series.

Some of you are really insistent on rewriting history here & it’s not a good look for him. These unprompted bids to defend, absolve & now frame him as the sole victim in a situation of his own making is a constant reminder to fans of the reason this series didn’t continue on like it was supposed to in the first place.

As a fan of his it makes sense that you’d want to shield him from overly harsh criticism & defend his name, however shining a huge light on a mess where optics are not in his favor & the facts are overwhelmingly not on his side is the opposite of damage control. This approach is unlikely to net you the sympathy points you were gunning for on his behalf.

I don’t want it to end! They should do a second season since Pond + Phuwin’s other series was scrapped.

Pheem’s tattoo has got to be the worst in GMMTV history. Straight out of a children’s coloring book with those primary colors.

If there are any Pond fans lingering here… kindly help me to understand why an actor of his caliber would take on a lifeless role in a lifeless series such as this. I swear every time he appears on my screen in a scene that "Ariana, what are you doing here?" meme instantly & continuously comes to mind.

Also, HOW did a series without a pulse score a sequel season?!
I know there are multiple novels but was this adaptation of the first really that popular? Genuinely asking as I was not tuned in then.

They have another vertical short series together called Golden Feathers on WeTV but unlike iQ they have most episodes behind a paywall regardless of VIP membership status. Just thought I’d let you know in case you were considering doing the same thing with WeTV to see their previous work.

This was me too! I dropped it fairly early on only to circle back and find that I actually LOVED it. It takes a good minute to fully appreciate the story but also it’s one of those series that necessitates your full attention, especially at the start. That was my problem - I was wrapped up in too many ongoing series at the time to where this one got the least of my concentration, which led to me writing off the first couple episodes as boring. In the end it would go on to be one of my favorite watches of last year.

Also, I’m watching Fourever You right now and I’m just baffled as to what Pond saw in this dud of a character to have taken a role like this. Maybe it’s the college setting but he feels so out of place. He’s good in it don’t get me wrong but there’s like no character to his character or anyone else’s for that matter lol. I've only seen one kissing scene so far and Pond was giving it his all but these characters are too lifeless outside of the bed for me to even want to ever see them in it lol. Meanwhile, Thada & Armin’s characters had so much life & story both individually & between them which helped a lot in amplifying their chemistry in every scene.

Respectfully, I see you are a fan of Smart’s now but it’s clear you weren’t around at that time so as a longtime follower (less so these days) of Mame’s since TT and a former fan of Smart’s (he was the best part of DSN) from the era in question I’ll need to correct your attempt at correcting me here as much of what you’re saying is wrong.

Firstly, JSY was a spinoff built around LeonPob (SmartJames) story not a sequel series for LeoFiat (JaFirst) who would’ve made at cameo appearance at most, so their status at the time or whatever is being inferred by your mention of Ja is largely irrelevant.

Second, you make it sound like Mame shifted focus to LiTA and JSY fell to the wayside as a result but that isn’t what happened. Mame only does one series at a time as one series funds the next and production on LiTA was near complete when she announced JSY. In fact, JSY was announced around the same time as another series which also featured characters from DSN and as with most Mame stories they would have gone on to share a universe. Actors from both of these planned series had cameos as their DSN characters (Smart’s Leon) in LiTA. In the meantime, Smart and James were in workshops for JSY! Why would she hold workshops for a series she wasn’t serious about doing next? As you said, Google is free.

And to be clear, I do blame GIR. I do not bring any of this up to sway public sentiment on Smart but rather to shine a light on the shady acts of his company who’s sole purpose in existing is to act on his behalf and guide his career. A career they’ve done absolutely nothing for, except guide him off any and every worthwhile track of success. All of this premature bowing out of projects is their fault! Whether they had reasons or not is moot to the fact that it’s just not a good look! Optics are everything and it’s a manager’s job for their client to remain in good public standing yet ALL of their decisions where Smart is concerned have worked against him. Would you not agree?

To reiterate what I’ve said so many times here, Smart was the only reason I was even clued into Top Form in the first place as I had been following him since DSN, but fan of him or not a pattern is a pattern and quite frankly I’ve grown tired of thinking up excuses for him because it’s now beyond the point of writing off as coincidences. At the end of the day, he’s made his stance clear in his desire to stay with that unserious and unprofessional management company so it is what it is. The real tragedy is in seeing an artist at the peak of their career thanks to a breakout role go backwards like this.

I really didn’t think it was possible but this series ended up being an even bigger disappointment than The Next Prince was for me. Every character is moronic!

I didn’t pick up on that resemblance but I only watched the clip of Phoom being flirty with Toey in the elevator. I’ll have to go back to watch the other two clips now and really examine them lol. Funny though because some fans were really hoping for Phoom x Boom! 🤣
