Unpopular Opinion: ML got shot down hard and clear by the FL, and I don't know why, but I like it. There's something about the FL being absolutely clear from the get-go that is refreshing; I don't know what it is. If there is to be a romantic interest for ML, I hope it is someone else and not the FL since, in her own words, they are a family, and she does not consider him as a love interest.
Looks like most of us are thinking the same thing. JW will be killed to get his heart. Looks like Dr. Chu is in…
They are strongly implying that this is the case here, and the fishing talk supported this hypothetical further. I hope this is just a red herring and the truth is something else.
The first episode successfully laid the groundwork for an engaging and multifaceted storyline. While it didn't explicitly focus on FL's sufferings, the subtle hints and glimpses into her life piqued my curiosity. The supporting characters bring their own charm to the show, and the enigmatic ML adds an extra layer of intrigue. I'm eager to witness the evolution of FL's character, her challenges, and her growth, as well as the possible flashbacks that will provide greater context and emotional resonance. Overall, this series shows great potential, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next episodes to further explore the captivating world it has introduced.
The first 2 episodes give me Thor 3 vibes, with unnecessary comedic scenes that fall flat, and the VFX in ep 1 was subpar, appearing rather janky. Despite the new character not meeting their expectations, the treatment they receive from the others is overly harsh. Let's hope for a course correction when Moon faces off against the main villain, and a shift towards a more serious tone, leaving behind the needless, unfunny comedy. This is my top 3 pick of the year; I hope it does not let me down.
In retrospect, upon analyzing the last two episodes, it becomes evident that they were rather subpar, leaving a significant amount to be desired among the viewers. One of the most glaring issues that contributed to this sentiment was the lackluster story pacing, which left me feeling disoriented and disconnected from the narrative's flow. Had the pacing been more finely tuned, it would have allowed for a more immersive and engaging experience.
Furthermore, these episodes missed crucial opportunities to delve into essential plot points, as several pivotal aspects were merely glossed over, leading to a sense of frustration and confusion. These aspects might have held substantial significance in the overall plot and character development, making their oversight all the more regrettable.
Oh Jin Seong reminds me of someone completely comfortable in his own skin, he knows himself. Echo what you said,…
We don't know much about his past except that his childhood was not that good. His loud and boisterous nature is probably the result of that and his coping mechanism. It can also be intentional by writes to show how his brothers death affects him since after his brothers death he will not be the same as before.

I completely understand what you're saying. Oh Jin Seong's portrayal of a character who is comfortable in his own skin and self-awareness is truly to my liking. Even though he is not a serious/stoic character he is smart as evident from his use of law against thugs suing him & from instances in ep 2. It's quite surprising that despite such a strong performance and engaging plot, the drama has only received a 7.7 rating after two episodes. Sometimes, ratings can be misleading, and this is the case for this drama.
I think people expect everything from ep 1. Same people will cry about no character development if that happens. I will suggest give it a go, their has been good amount of character development for 2 episodes and the mystery regarding serial killer is also intriguing.
Oh Jin Seong, when he was included in the investigation and being happy like a child who got his favorite chocolate, just warms my heart. Also, what is up with people shitting on dramas with no romance and investigating elements? This show being rated at 7.7 is an atrocity. If it is a drama with romance and big stars, even a shitty drama will get 8.3+ ratings. At the same time, dramas like this one fight an uphill battle for ratings. I don't know what it is—is it a vocal minority of reviewers who just drop the drama and give it 1 star, or do people lack the patience for suspense and expect everything to be resolved in the first episode?
Am i foreseeing a Triangle? let's hope that is not the case. Also the Ep1 was a good setup for whats to come but the Assembly man's sons is such a punch able face & i still suspect him atleast for one of the murder.
Most of the cast are unrecognizable in the poster, Thank lord i clicked after seeing the interesting summary and some of my most liked actors are an added bonus.
I loved the end of the series; the team finally became a family and had a fresh start in their lives. Their journey, albeit long, was essential in showing how they suffered and overcame their past. I especially enjoyed the last scene—it left me with a smile and reminded me of a Hollywood movie. I would rate it 9.5/10.
If you're wondering whether to watch it or not, I recommend going for it. It's a great binge-watch with elements of mystery, investigation, and past trauma. The story develops over time, which can be frustrating for some, but it's important to understand that overcoming past trauma takes time. Overall, it's a great drama. Go for it!
