When they teased a new member for the team in DD i was so exited that it might be her even if it is for a brief moment but ep 10 let me down in that regard. But now after reading this I'm Happy.
One of the top 3 drama i was interested in 2023, but it left so much to be desired. The first 4 episodes are where a series sets the tone but this faltered at that, middle episodes were ok but last one was a let down. Kind of disappointing.
This episode felt like it was a set up for what's to come. It doesn't look like it will be a smooth sailing for the team. Nasa you are in deep trouble brother. I thought we will get a new cast and team member, i feel robbed by the revelation.
Just when you think you can't hate the organization any more, they prove you wrong. The organization is the biggest piece of shit. The way they trap people who are in desperate need and exploit them really hits close to home because no matter where you are, things like this happen around you, involving many powerful people who get away with it. This whole scene broke my heart, and the actress did a really good job in portraying the emotions.
Good episode. It was such an emotional way to start the episode. Da Jung crying broke my heart, and the female lead (FL) seemed emotionally exhausted and broken, losing all hope. Finally, it felt like the FL realized that she couldn't go through it alone. I've seen many people complaining about the FL's attitude of wanting to go at it alone, but this episode showed us how everyone was psychologically analyzed by a team of psychiatrists and molded to fit the organization's desired image, which messed them up. The female lead had a double whammy of being in the organization, which eventually led to the death of her parents, and spending so much time in jail. Her 'go at it alone' mechanism was her way of protecting herself. I don't know why, but Ro Um and Yo Han's interaction at the station was funny. I especially loved the phone call between the FL and the male lead (ML) where she was emotionally exhausted. Finally, she had an open conversation with ML, telling him how she felt powerless and tired, weighed down by everything that was happening. ML shared what he had learned – that a home isn't just a building but the people waiting for you, and that he would wait for her. It was a realization for her that the team is like her family, supporting her no matter what. Da Jung shared how they held a funeral for her parents, and Ringo taking care of her parents' grave further proved this. It's heartwarming to witness the team members having heartfelt conversations and the team getting back together. Just when you think you can't hate the organization any more, they prove you wrong. A great actor has been added to the series, although I'm not sure for how many episodes, but I like him. Also, the teaser for another actress has piqued my interest. I can't wait to see who she is.
If you're unsure about watching it, I recommend giving it four episodes to decide. It's either your cup of tea or not. Personally, I believe it has received unfair negative reviews, so it's best to watch it and form your own judgment.
I am getting Mike and Rachel vibes from Jang Ho Woo and Jin Yeon Ah. Here's to hoping we get a bromance like Mike and Harvey from Han Seung Jo and Jang Ho Woo. And now we know that Han Je Kyun will never do anything for good; he is giving me Vince McMahon vibes.
Yes kind of, but that depends on other things too. I mean first of all, we are talking about many more ratings…
As a newbie, people will mostly judge based on ratings, and it will take them time to understand that ratings are just an indication and that individual taste plays a significant role. So, it might take them some time to discover other good dramas. My comments were aimed at those people who read the comments to make judgments, hoping that they might find them helpful.
I agree it bothers me too coz people tends to watch cliche romantic plots but will draw the line at slightly diff…
I personally always try to give four episodes to judge a drama since the story needs to be set up. In my opinion, this was a good first episode as it provided the ML's (main lead's) backstory, his struggles, and how the death of his guardian affected him, giving him a motive. It also hinted that the ML might know about his original parents, adding a mysterious element. This episode showcases that the ML is not only brawn but also brains, as he was skilled enough to be hired where he works. His struggles at that place led him to choose a new way to learn things since no one was willing to include him in their team.

People will evolve because, after a while, romance will not satisfy them, and they will explore other genres of dramas. As you mentioned, I rewound a few times to understand the terminology, but that's the charm of it—it requires you to comprehend something instead of simply shutting off your mind and watching. Though dramas like that also have their time and place, I just hope people don't prematurely judge this drama based on one episode and its ratings.

I love my romantic dramas, you can just guess it from my username. Hell i will not even mind if this drama has romance as long as it doesn't hinders and overshadows the main story line. In my opinion Romance is like MSG some people hate it without any reason but a perfect pinch of this ingredient can do wonders. Romantic dramas have their own charms and so do dramas like these i just hope that the ratings don't affect people that may consider watching the show, many people do judge the drams based on their ratings.

Great work by the promotional team.
