Ok so one is giving a 10 and the other is giving a 5. So how am I supposed to understand if this is good or not
well, i always take reviews and comments with a grain of salt. and i also don't expect others to force my opinions on them too. i always try to see things for myself, and if i like it, then i finish it. if i don't, i drop it. if i feel the need to contribute to the community of viewers w/ a review or comment, i leave some. if i don't feel the need, i can't be bothered to do so. So always try to watch it yourself, because each one's experience is different. i hope this helps! :)
i looooove it. it's funny and lighthearted. though, by 30th ep i decided to skip all jialin/xu yan parts. lol. like i had enough. lol. being in your 30's is tough, life's pressures are different, as well as the problems. most of all, the way a person responds to such issues must also be different. despite everything life has to throw at all people in their 30's, i quote ye han, "regrets are scary, but it's more scary to live a life of regret." move on!!!! lol.
nope, not bad. but honestly, I'm still surprised to see K-dramas in 2024 with "these" themes used in a high school drama. I would love to see how the writer demonizes all the adults in this drama in S2, coz really, I cannot imagine how to write the redemption of all the adult characters here for the ending. Or maybe fast forward it to 10 yrs so we'll see what type of generation we're breeding if the adults surrounding the kids are like them. will be waiting for S2. I hope the writers minimize the perversion of morals of the kids on the show. at least. it's a pain to watch even though we know it exists in some people's reality.
this is soooo not the typical Asian drama. maybe, i haven't been watching too many kdramas lately coz i was surprised by the perversion of the morals and virtues of the high schoolers here. hahahahahaha. it's like watching a western series back from the early 2000's. maybe the writers thought it must be staged that way so that we see the redemption part to be worthwhile of all the victims' suffering, idk,... imho, the real villains in this drama are the adults. they are the ones who need counseling and guidance the most. lol.

sigh. i cannot even begin to describe the stupidity of episodes 20 and 25. it irks me so much how a poor plot easily destroys a drama with a beautiful premise. sigh. I can understand the naivete of the so-called Yihua master- Wuque, but too much of it destroys its character development. anyway, i don't have any problems with hu yitian's portrayal. i just cannot understand how his character is written. and don't get me started with Xiaoyou. i'll end it here for the sake of world peace. *EDIT* for the life of me, i just cannot finish this drama w/o skipping right to the final episode. when you're like me and reach the 35th, bless your soul for it's an incredible milestone. but that's it. just get to the finale fast because it's still a merry-go-round at that point, except that there's nothing merry about it at all. at least though, the comedy won't disappoint; a redeeming factor after all the foolishness of the main characters. You're welcome.
the sound and music dept of this drama is top-notch. They just elevated the scenes that might come out boring into something exciting. At some parts though, the bgm reminds me of Godzilla and some sci-fi and zombie movies combined.lol. This drama also reminds me of Destined, for sheer girl power.

I honestly did not expect this to be funny, since I didn't check the tags ahead. The ML's comedic timing is really good, and I find the humor used here to be witty despite the presence of all the undead.
But It's literally her job. It's not like She's doing a charity or sum
jung so min?! or go yun jung?? i dont think they are both newbies. compared to HSZ's list of work though, as stated here in mdl. and im a global citizen, i have the need to learn other cultures for my survival.
if 2 guys are enough to carry the show what's the point of casting a fl?
sidestory? backstory? an interesting conflict? there can be a myriad of ways to make use of an fl. and in this drama i think it could be anything that the writer chooses to be.
