Ok. That 1st episode was surprisingly funny. The romance was just too fast from the usual xianxia I've watched in the past. A peck, a proposal, cohabiting, and a breakup all in the 1st 45mins of the series is a 1st for my xianxia watch history.lol. well. Because of that, im seated and i managed to be very curious as to how this romance will play out in the succeeding eps. *I do hope the editing becomes better tho. Some scenes are quite jarring... Or maybe it was made to be so...?
I always wait for good modern cdrama as I'm not into historical stuff but I found it really slow and boring at…
Well, what i noticed with cdramas is that they mostly start 2 get interesting at ep4. I wonder why. one that stood out to me though was Blossoms in Adversity. It has a pretty tight storytelling for its genre. Incredibly well-written beginning to end, which was surprising.
Those 2 are the most natural couple I've seen onscreen on cdramaland. Their scenes together are so believable, but not to the point of making viewers crazy enough to ship them in real life.. Like you wont see 'em forcibly acting "love" just to give a sense of romance onscreen. It was just 2 actors acting in such a way it's believable to watch. But also maybe the director was just able to capture those romantic scenes perfectly, so it came out real good.
Ohh ive been waiting for this since last 2024 and now that iqiyi dropped it, i love it already! The comedy is always on-point, maybe because i can relate to the type of childhood the characters portray, despite having a different setting. I cant wait for the story to unfold and what happens to each of their future. Oh, and bailu is just so versatile. I love her all the more.
A very lighthearted drama that's meant to entertain and give off good vibes after a stressful day at work. No need to analyse the plot and character devts. Just watch and enjoy. If you want stress, go watch horror.
Genre must include comedy. Plenty of good laughter from both PBG and IU.... are quite funny here. Who knew. I love this so far. I hope they give us a happy ending for Ae-sun, eventhough she's already happy inspite of everything.
thank you moonlight mystique! it was an amazing ride. this just reignited my love for xianxias again. it is one of the best written xianxias out there for me. plot is tight and well-written. a good one in a long time.
i was laughing the whole time the moment that argan arc came into the picture. like roflmao. guilt can sometimes make a man do crazy weird stuff in kdrama world. lol. i am never forgetting this drama because of that batshit crazy finale. hahahaha
Have rewatched twice. The majestic aura of the ml is very satisfying. He's such a night mare for the enemies. When…
Beyond the actors, who btw are the perfect picks for their roles, I super love the story so much. Despite not reading the novel, I believe both zhang jing yi and hu yi tian did their roles justice. The adaptation is so done well, it's an amazing watch. I felt like journeying with the Hua's as well. lol
i'm rewatching this today and it still gave me the same feeling the first time i watched it. this drama is so beautifully written for tv. I hope i can read the novel though. and omg, the OST!!!!! i put the ost in the same level as Joy of life S2 and Love between fairy and devil in the same playlist.
this drama is so toxic. if you have a small heart, dont watch. lol. all tropes are in this drama. you wont get bored, but you will get pissed. beginning to end. lol.
*I do hope the editing becomes better tho. Some scenes are quite jarring... Or maybe it was made to be so...?
