I agreed. The thing is that c-drama lacks breaking the stereotypes & does something out of the contexts like K-drama & J-Dramas in terms of modern romance. Taiwanese drama has a bit more advantage to the modern romance

Tantai Jin usually has no trouble ignoring people who annoy him, but when Li Susu/Ye Xiwu doesn't pay attention to him, he gets mad as hell. The manhua showed already he unwillingly enjoyed having her attention
The manhua version concluded season 1 where Xiwu taught Tantai Jin how to draw the common talisman. It didn't say much about the next season unfortunately

Looking at this made me wish we could have seen Gongye Jiwu was manipulated to be the demon emperor like his OG in the 2nd timeline. He looked so hot in the black armor

It just completed the nightmare act, the next is our Fox demon. Pian Ran in the OG is much different from the drama. She is bitter, vengeful but also remorse. She has a smaller role in the OG
Oh...the ending words in the end of the new chapter prophesized the BE of the couple future. It's pretty much be careful what you wished for. TTJ showed a bit concern for YXW when she asked to his wood against the fox. The next one will be the talisman teaching. Can't wait to see it
