I really enjoyed last year's Wuxia & Xinxia dramas like Immortal Samsara & Love like Galaxy with the FLs, Yandan & Niao Niao. They at least put up a good fight on their own and take charge against their nemesis while the MLs followed their lead that often lead to victory

BingChang showed that she couldn't even careless about her mother's memorial service and thought about getting revenge on everyone for her petty self. Tantai Jin should have at least warned Susu about her sister current state of mind as he used to his family backstabbing and was aware of her true nature seeing she didn't hesitated to betray Xiao Lin.

Sometimes what I can't stand the most in the c-dramas is that they often degraded the lead women into dumb or naïve for no reason before the climax then highlighting the ML in a positive tone. I thought things had changed since last year how they recently portrayal the FL as strong and take charge of their own life in the face of danger.

BingChang was stupid to lie like that to Tantai Jin so he could pity her but he was not fool by her act cause she deliberately hurt Pian Ran emotionally for not telling about her former lover's death and used her love thread for her selfishness. Aside XiWu, no one hurts his big sister and gets away.

I like that Xiao Lin had more insight in this version than his OG counterpart. He saw his wife true face but still love her regardless and knew Susu occupied XiWu body. His brotherhood with Tantai Jin was still strong despite their circumstances

Yeah! It would have been great for Tantai MingLang or Fuyu decided to attack the Ye clan (they were all still alive before his rebellion) and took the grandma hostage so Xiwu/Susu could come on her own without telling anyone maybe just Pian Ran to cover her while she confronted them. She would so talked down on him that Tantai MingLand will have his face all red with fury.

I wished Tantai Jin secretly saved her grandmother like in the OG.

This is one of the times fate plays a cruel joke on them

OG Tantai Jin became similar to the actor portrayal in the immortal act but he still had some violent outbursts and murderous intents. Susu & XiWu had different appearance so he didn't know until another lost artifact showed him their past that he learned they're the same. After that, he tried to make amends for what he did to her cause Susu lost her trust in him but he had hard time expressing himself unlike LYX's.

PS: I don't know why Susu never noticed until she visited the tomb that he was carrying the jade statue she gave him around his waist. He didn't have it on him in the mortal act. Another plot holes in the OG.

I love LYX TTJ more than the OG version. He was the villain in the mortal act in the previous adaptations who did really despicable things to the other casts especially to YXW due to his outbursts. The most annoying part was his favorism of BC. He fell so easily to her scheme even though he knew she plotted them against YXW but didn't do anything towards her until after the tower sequence where he lost everything due to his judgements

yep, his OG was the total opposite of the c-drama version in the mortal act. Then they became a bit similar in the immortal act as he begun doing the same thing like in episode 38, becoming the enemy to the world to protect Susu & saving the realms from the Path

I like that Susu acknowledged she had fallen for Tantai Jin and how she wished to be with him in this era. The water festival was a bit of a wake up call of her mission and the seal of the Barren abyss was running out of time.

I did enjoyed the Ye clan moments that we didn't see often in the OG story. They so supportive to their buttercup. I hated how the 2 sisters get along without tensions as Susu had no idea BingChang had changed since the Bo're dreams as she betrayed her husband and tried to steal her husband for her greed.

Pian Ran was awesome taking down the dragon guards by herself showed us why she is the leader of the Jing army.

Still dumbed that we didn't see her stroking his still clothed chest while putting her head on his shoulder. I have to say the lead women in this drama are so bold expressing physically their affections to their lead men. It's usually the opposite in c-dramas

He got killed by his true father from what i read in the novel.
Mo NV was a poorly showcased due to the new yet stupid regulation in the immortal act. She did at least try to persuade Si Ying to not follow the same mistake she did which she failed and accepted to follow TTJ as the new DG willingly despite their past as she knew he was different from before.


I'm currently writing a FF set after the marriage announcement from ep.39 but the date set in 3 weeks instead of 3 days. I added more elements from the books that would have fit the live drama and wrote a proper redemption act for Mo NV. Susu & Si Ying had a tense rivalry in the OG story and I find it interested the c-drama version made them sort of stepsisters but neither never knew this. My take will have them know this fact as I planned to detail how Susu nominated her & Jing Mie to be little A Mi nannies like the original ending.

He executed the FL family too for his ambitions without remorse.

Di Mian is officially my 2nd hated scum father enemy this year in the c drama. At least try to persuade Chun Huang & Susu to go with him in his reign as the devil king which both refused.


Commissioner Shanquan Wang in Destined is this year my most hated scumbag dirt father. He brutally killed his own son (he was a abusing cowardly womanizer so good riddance.) just to capture Gu Jiusu and executed his nephew who was Jiusu sworn brother to draw him out without a blink an eye. He did this all for money, glory and rule the city with iron fist. The couple clans and family are almost all gone in today's episodes because of him and they are now in the run.

The 2nd ML is also even worse than JiWu v.2. He was obsessed of gaining everything from the ML and tried to take the FL with him due to their childhood past which she was not aware of. He literally participated in the massacres of both Gu & Ye clans.

I was right, bye bye happy moment episodes to all hell break loose with so many deaths in the end of 13th to the 14th.

He has an unstable Anti Social behaviour and a Yandare. The 25th EP was when we see his Yandare and creepy obsession on screen at the very best due to censorship in China.

I often compare his OG in the mortal act to Inuyasha's Naraku but in the immortal and demon act, he was a lot like Blazblue Ragna the Bloodedge for the actions he did in the ending

TTJ would rather be strangled by his wife than hers anyway
