The Emperor Sheng turned out to be an abusive, ego maniac and dilusional over the situation. How I wish Xiao Lin had the courage to stand up for what was right for the people instead following the book he was taught to read. At least Tantai Jin had the gust to deal with his family drama that made him a better Emperor and leader to the people.

At those in the US had better roles and treated with more respect after they voiced how they were often given the typical roles hence we see more shows with the Asian leads

I'm glad she is very popular in the south eastern Asia countries especially in Thailand and Vietnam. She is not known yet in the international countries like US or Canada. If youku managed to fixed the editing of the series then negotiate the Netflix in the area, she will be widely recognized like LYX (Both areas take seriously the editing of the series hence why there's not much new C-drama lately)

Yeah TTEOTM was different than most C-drama. Audience often preferred the K-Drama because of the originality in the storylines. C-drama often based theirs from novels, comics and sometimes real life events. They rarely invented their own stories compared to Korean or even Japanese drama.

Coincidentally, the series often took place in winter which was important to the settings and representing the leads struggle in their journey especially in the mortal act.

Also how strong his insights are later on. I'm really glad the drama version made the two respected each other even as enemies. Their OG versions barely had any scenes together in the mortal act and Xiao Lin had no clue how much Tantai Jin envied him that he wanted to kill him to claim what he believed was his.

It usually referred to extra scenes and episode time length that weren't in the original format. In my opinion, it would be best if the episode last more than an hour instead over 50minutes. It's common in the Japanese series and the Korean drama when the show became popular. The oath of love was the few C-drama who had the extension version

I don't see LYX shirtless in his dramas, I can understand he is a shy person so I respect his decision even though his character is the pillar opposite of his original version where he was often shirtless in the storyline. Come to think of it, Only Xiao Lin had that opportunity while Tantai Jin will take some of his clothes out a bit later on

Youku did released the audio preview of the Aftermath, but still did not announced when it will be release

I like that Xiao Lin disobeyed his father's orders to help Tantai Jin escape by bringing the corpses of Tantai MingLang men back with him. This showed that he still looked out for him like his big brother despite being fugitive. It what made me love him more than his OG version

We so need the extended version with all the deleted scenes. Japanese often does this with the special extension of their series, TTEOTM deserve the same treatment with all the deleted scene
