I haven't watched this yet cause from youtube shorts it looks like it a lot of overstepped boundaries, people going out of their way to hurt others and then like it ends with everyone abandoning her. Does anyone know if there'll be another series at some point, that actually has a proper conclusion?
I keep hearing that it's not even a sure thing but I don't understand how that is if they announced it already…
I may be wrong, I only started watching Thai dramas (well all Asian dramas mid-year 2024), but usually its only a sure thing when the official trailer comes out - thats when I let myself get my hopes up anyway π
I'm excited to see what FortPeat do with these roles, they seem very different from their previous works. Its looks like it might be quite a violent and tragic plot this time, that, at the moment, based of the pilot, I can't see having a proper happy ending. I am eager to see the growth in FortPeat acting though as what I've watched so far of theirs seems to get better eachtime, as well as their chemistry. The difference between they're acting and chemistry in Love in the Air and Love Sea was huge for me, I can't wait to see the difference again.
This is a power house of a cast so I'm hoping they have the quality writing and a decent budget to make this. The potential this has, with the cast they've got, is absolutely crazy. Also I'm seeing a few bl couples I like, but this obviously looks like they're not really going to have time for romance, so I'm really interested to see how this might change their onscreen dynamic.
You'd rather die than live with embarrassment for the rest of your life? THEN DIE BITCH! I don't think I can express…
I despise the Grandmother's character so much and the father is annoying me too, just allowing his son to be miserable for the rest of his life. Sometimes I have to remind myself of both cultural and time differences - deferring to the eldest in the family, from what I understand, is very much the norm in Thailand (I apologise if I am wrong, please let me know, respectfully, as I am always willing to learn), but still it drives me crazy when people value status and monentary value over the family they're meant to cherish.
Well looks like next week is when their relationship is getting ready to be tested. It is obvious that the boss…
I am actually terrified that Tuo is going to cheat because he might confuse admiration for love after the boss gets in his head - which based of the very short preview he might.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.Any chance the series is different and there was a misunderstanding/ different…
I'm saying what I hope will happen - I don't expect anything. But yes, if the storyline follows that, from what I understand, the book illistrates I wont be able to watch it. I can't bring myself to watch series that romanticise rape. Thats just a personal preference as this is meant to be somewhere we can share those. Please remember that people are allowed to share their opinions, what I said isn't putting down the work the production team or actors put in in anyway or trying to influence others so I don't understand why you seem so upset by it. Despite this I'm sorry if my opinion offends or upsets you, that's not my intention.
I've not read the book, can I ask if its actually Knight that commited the rape in the book, and not someone else?
Thats disappointing - I hope they don't follow the book then. From the end of the latest episde it looks like they might be able to change the storyline and have it be someone else. Hopefully they rewrote it that way or changed the ending so they don't end up together.
I watched the episode - I'm hoping its not Knight, the only reason I'm think this though is because, unless I…
Oh no, I hadn't watched Eye Contact yet and was thinking about watching it. Are you telling me it romanticised rape - when does this happen? If so that can get scratched off the to-watch list

I really hope so - for now I'm going to carry on watching and hope that they made these changes because if its actually Knight, even if they work through it and are happy in the end, I won't be able to watch it again. Rape is rape. Hopefully it won't be romanticised and is handled in the series in a responsible and respectful manner. The most recent episode didn't really show how it'll be wrote, it left a lot of question marks for me - if it gets represented in a disrespectful and romantised manner then I wont be able to watch this.

Please spoil if for me - is this a happy ending series, unhappy or, worst of all, open ended?

Not sure if you'll like it, but thought I'd say anyway π
