How did FL go to 1999? These things have no such answer! If you see transmigration tropes, how they go, how they come back all is a mystery! Some stories show that the entire thing is fake, and they were just dreaming, hence leads in the real life just meet for 2 seconds glancing at each other, giving an open ending (Chinese censorship rules)
But A dream within a dream and this one, did something better, they showed both the fictional/novel world and the so called real modern world in 2025, are part of a story being written by an author. Hence they have all memories and reunite in the modern world as well! The author clearly writes how did he came to modern world, is another story, depicting that nothing was real everything was a story be it 1999 or 2025.

SML is ML's friend and he loves FL's friend. That's a second couple who love each other. FL has a trash ex, nope FL doesn't cheat as being proclaimed instead the trash ex does, and no there is no kiss scene between the trash ex and FL!

FL is not the same person as in the book. The book Huaner had a boyfriend who she was dating for 7 years. Real FL did not! She never saw his face before, but in the airport for the first time in ep 11. The boyfriend was cheating on the book FL since three years, the real FL had read the book and knew that but she couldn't break it off because the pager said only the trash bf can do it! FL and the book FL are not the same person, just had the same name and face! FL wanted to return to her world and pager gave her a mission she had to do it to return!

Yes, by the end, they tried to show that even the real world is a novel world! The entire thing was being written by an author! Same like A dream within a dream! This is because Chinese censorship does not allow transmigration tropes to have such endings, they cannot keep living in the novel, they have to show that its not real, so many transmigration stories show open ending! But ADWAD and this one, took a clever route, gave us a happy ending by proclaiming that the entire thing was a novel!
Also leads did knew each being part of the same high school, but they weren't really close or very familiar with each other. But during the shooting of this drama they kind of connected and then developed the friendship, then did the variety show and hence are close! So I guess it was a little less awkward then, but it would be a lot awkward now if they had to recreate those scenes! Lol!
Though I love their chemistry both off screen or onscreen hence the "awkwardness" really isn't a matter for them!

Hahh finally! I loved it would be an understatement! Transmigration tropes are one of my favourite genres but sometimes when they don't end it well, I feel so bad, makes me hate it! Everytime I clicked to watch each episode I feared that the ending wouldn't be happy!

But again still I watched it! Few said it was nonsense, plot was crap, anything, I really didn't care. It made me laugh so much, it was hysteric. The comedic timing was great. Some felt it became draggy when FL pushed ML by not confessing back, but the comedy scenes then, ML finally pursuing FL, and FL having to not reciprocate her feelings back, intrigued me. Their dating scenes, love scenes, kiss scenes, scenes where they feared separating, words everything made me so much emotional! The last 4 episodes were so sad, that I have cried buckets. They had no right to turn this romantic drama which heavily delves on comedy, be so so sad! I have laughed and cried with them in these 24 episodes. The fact that they gave me a happy ending is enough satisfactory to me. They have their memories, they are the same people, they will love and cherish each other forever. I am so glad I watched this! Also this drama was so colourful maybe because its set up is in late 1990s.

I am so glad that CXX and Yuwen reunited because of this drama, did variety show and are hysteric together. I am going to miss them, and this show so much! Such a rewatchable drama, I am going to come back to them over and over again! But I did get how they passed censorship, made it feel that even the real world was fictional, when someone wrote that about how Gao Haiming came back its for another story, took the path of ADWAD, good job! Again just like I never cared how ML in ADWAD came to FL's world, I would never care how ML here came to FL's world! Just like as they said, I would like to believe, love transcends time!

Maybe time to give ADWAD a rewatch, hahaha! And CXX & Yuwen see you soon in Wow The World Season 2!

Watch it, its so funny and nice, sometimes sad, but again so funny, and happy!

Okay I have 1.5 episodes left! This was such an awesome ride, but rom com is just for first 19 episodes, rest 5 were rom-tragic, I mean even all those happy moments we got, I cried so much, just glad its a happy ending!

They are so funny together! The fact is I have never seen WYW being so teasy, sarcastic to anyone else but her. Lol he even said she looked like his aunty when they were mimicking how to be a mushroom (if you remember they all were playing a game), called everyone beautiful but not her, lol! They were just like siblings bickering! He is not so introverted with her!

So dramas are categorized as A, B, or S or S+. It depends on the quality of production, capital, profitable etc. S+ is the best category drama like the highest top quality! If a S+ drama doesn't create so much profit or market share, it later becomes S or something lower, indicating a loss. S is just below this category, and the lowest category are A and B. So on terms of productions, this was not a high budget drama or something, it was not S but something lower. But when it released, after few days it became S, so yes it became profitable and hence a hit! No one even expected this so yeah it was a kind of surprise!

Though Liu Yuning already saw that bed/kiss scene, and said in their group chat, Aiiyo I cannot see this, why are real life friends acting like this, oh my God! In the interview CXX and Yuwen also spoke about it, CXX telling her that Lin Yi told him about it during Wow the World, they also showed a clip, Lin Yi telling him that that is why couples go to watch haunted films together, when you are in danger you want to depend on the other person, leading to falling in love.

Exactly! Its actually very rare, ADWAD did it, even they did it! Thank God for it!
