so trueI really enjoy complex characters and relationships as long as they make sense within the worlds and character…
Exactly, I have tropes I dislike as well. But I simply ignore those dramas. I will never discourage others from watching it, or say those who watch it lack morals or taste. What a stupid thing to say that the drama will be enjoyed by those who love cheating or are cheaters. By that logic all crime dramas are to be enjoyed by criminals and police only. There is a need to separate real life and fiction.

People these days just want plain black or white things. One complex story, a little different than what we usually see, not perfect leads, and everyone loses their minds? And then we hear people saying kdramas are just recycling old plots, there is nothing new. How would there be anything new if you don't let them try things?
Stop bringing morals into dramas, cheating/open relationships are part of society,, unfortunately. If they decide to explore a plot towards it, that doesn't mean its glorifying it, its just showing a story. No one needs to relate to it, or do it. The drama has not even released. Watch two episodes, then decide for yourself.
Writing big reviews even before a drama has released, is pathetic.

The novel had a SE, but the drama underwent many changes, so we don't know about the ending.

When is Lu Yu Xiao's costume fitting? Isn't it usually together?
Lu Yuxiao is filming her movie, it will wrap in the first week of September, so after that maybe.

The clip I saw feels like Overdo micro drama presentation. Even the poster above has same color and lighting.
Republican dramas tend to use that yellow filter for God knows what reason, but there are many examples of it. But regarding plot, Overdo and TLOA do not even remotely have the same plot. That had a pitiable ML, this one has a red/orange flag ML. That one was FL trying to take revenge, this one is FL trying to escape from ML initially. While that focused more on human trafficking, issues against women, this one is more on the military and war side.

Title The Noble Spoiler
He is connected to the Imperial family by marriage. He is a powerful and ambitious man. A negative character.
Ahh I just checked, right.
Yes, Shen Qing was the one who was elder, who fell for the crown prince (Shen Miao's husband in previous life), but later became the concubine of another of another country's Prince. Shen Yue was the manipulative one, she appeared sweet, and then married into a good family, but then her whole family died for some reason.
If I remember correctly, it was said Xueer plays the character of the concubine of Deng Kai's character, in the Reuters. But that doesn't add up according to the novel, because Shen Qing is supposed to be that.

Shen Qing and Shen Yue both were antagonists, but Shen Qing was a little dumb as well, her plans never worked out, it was her mother who was clever, and took decisions for her. Shen Yue appeared sweet but was cunning, she even got herself married to the one Shen Qing was supposed to marry.

Do you mean in Empress Reborn? Yeah in the novel, there were two sisters. But in the drama, there is only one sister, I think. The cast doesn't mention Shen Qing, only Yue. Shen Qing is the sister who later went and became a concubine of the Prince from another kingdom (Deng Kai's character), but in the drama Shen Yue (Xueer) filmed with Deng Kai.
I think the drama makers, combined the two characters into one.

The novel and the drama are different. Few basic things have been kept same, but other wise there are many changes.…
FL initially works in a hotel. I heard she is more feisty than the novel, she is determined. The trope is wolf catching rabbit, wolf being ML and rabbit being FL. For rest, we have to wait.

The ML's character is different. He was a playboy in the novel, had affairs, even married another woman. There is nothing like that in the drama. He is a little obsessive initially but is loyal to her. In the novel, I heard, he killed his son, in the drama nothing of that will happen.
